Requesting Dan from AM

I have my roush a/b on for almost a month now. When i listen to my exhaust standing from the back i noticed my driver side roush exhaust tone/growl has changed. I can no longer hear the wa wa wa at idle like on the passenger side or that growl whille revving. Help please

You don't need a new part.

They designed the mufflers that way so that when your sitting in the drivers seat you are farther away from the muffler on the passenger side. It makes the sound you hear while driving "EVEN OUT". Your lucky you have them installed properly or the loud one would be on the wrong side. Then you would have DRONE.

I hope this clears things up for you.
But still PM Dan and see what he say's.

Thanks for the feedback but i dont think thats the cause. Im pretty sure i have a defective exhaust because that roush idle sound ( wa wa wa) dissapeared on the driver side and on revs that growl is less noticeable too.

lol, are you serious? That's crazy, not saying you are wrong cause I don't know. I just think that's funny. I think they would want it to sound right from the outside not the drivers seat.

Hey Winkawak,

Sorry to hear about this! I'm not really sure what could be causing this. That sounds very odd! I've never heard of this happening before to say the least.

We can definitely look into this for you, though! Shoot me a PM with your order number included and I'll have our CS Manager reach out directly. He can help you troubleshoot and see what's going on here!

I receieved your order number and will get you in touch with our CS unit. This sounds very odd still. I've never once heard of this happening. However, what Ronnie is saying is definitely true.

Let's look a little further into this for you. We can also get in contact with the manufacturer and see what they say!
