American Muscle mess ups

I've started to get used to the fact that there would be a 80% chance that I would have issues with my order if I ordered from American Muscle. But this last order really just boiled my blood. I placed an ordered and I payed through paypal. I have three addresses to chose from for shipping on paypal, and I chose the correct address. I noticed that 10 seconds later my old address overwrites the address I chose, so I filled in the correct shipping address and placed the order. I didn't think anything of it because I placed an order 3 days prior and the same thing happened and my order came to the right address. Well...this time it went to the wrong address.

So I call AM thinking that they would re-route the package to them and overnight me a new package. Well...that wasnt even close. They tried to make me pay 10 dollars to re-route the package back to them or to my address. After about 20 minutes they finally waived the 10 dollars and I just had them re-route it to them and I cancelled the order because they said they wouldn't overnight the package to me. I'm kinda bummed because I needed this package today or tomorrow, because I'll be out of town for 3 weeks. I've spent over 10k in the past 3 years with them, and the guy chuckled and said "that's not gonna happen" when I asked for them to overnight them to me. I think that comment sealed the deal with future orders to AM.

If 80% of the time they mess up your order why do you keep going back to them and spend $10k? I would have gone somewhere else.

Isn't there a way to delete old addresses? If you're using the phone app there might not be but go thru the website.

I'd say that's an error on you PayPal account. How are you gonna blame AM muscle for sending to the address they were given via PayPal. If you bought something from me and provided me with the wrong address then realized it after I already shipped...sorry but I'd tell you to go pound sand and wait. 😊

Because I chose the right address on paypal. When I was redirected to the AM site, it changed it, but even after that, I updated it to my new address.

I'm here to make this right for you and way I can!

It's not paypals fault. I have a receipt from paypal with my shipping address I chose. AM admitted it was their fault. I sent AM proof that I chose the correct address. They told me essentially that once the product is paid they don't bother to check if the paypal address and shipping address is the same and that their system defaults to previously used addresses sometimes.This is a big no no, because you can only have product sent to addresses on your PayPal account. The address in question isn't on my paypal account anymore.

I really appreciate it Alex. But I'm not sure how it can be fixed though. The first guy kind of wasted my time by not checking into the overnight shipment after I asked. I called back a little later and the second guy was more than willing to overnight them after I sent my paypal receipt but said the cut off was noon( it was 12:30) and he was super nice and helpful. Time is really the factor here as I needed them by tomorrow. I'll send you a pm with the info though.

I agree you shouldn't have been treated the way you were on the phone, but it happens from time to time, but honestly man, you need to correct that issue with PayPal asap.

I had an issue with AM just last week, I ordered a set of Forgestar F14's, two 19x9 and two 19x10, what do I get? three 19x9 and one 19x10 smh, called them up and while they got it squared away, it was frustrating to say the least, I had an appointment to get my tires mounted that day and had to cancel the appointment.

And make sure its printed the right way!

Funny story: I got a free t-shirt with my order this week... I put it on with the small "pocket sized" logo to the front & the big logo to the back and it felt funny / didn't fit right. So I look down & the tag is in the front. Switch it around, now the shirt fits properly... but the print looks weird b/c it seems to be printed on the wrong sides.

NO, I DO NOT CARE. I DO NOT WANT A NEW FREE SHIRT! Lol, I just thought it was funny, they're probably free, b/c they were printed wrong and need to be unloaded!

LOL! correction, I order every part that is GOOD from trucarbon. I actually order only a fraction from them. Usually I get those parts from Stage3 or Hillbank so I can get free shipping and a better price.

I will say, I bought my GT500 wing off their ebay site where they only sell damaged items. The wing showed pics clearly where the gel coat and clear coat was chipped completely away from the tip of the wing. I was easily able to repair it to where it is flawless. Mikey, send them too me if you want and I can repair them for you. I have everything already as I am in the process of making some of my own custom carbon fiber parts. (Vortech Intake Tube & ipad mini holder) Just pay shipping and I can easily fix what you show in those pics.
