Gear Question

Alex or Dan,

Are the gears between an '02 and '13 GT interchangeable? In the AM site it lists two different item numbers (24001G99 and 24001G116) for the gears yet it calls out the same Ford Racing number (M-4209-F373N) for each. I have a set of gears that come out of my '13GT that I would like to install in my '02GT. I'm confused.

Any help appreciated.

Mac! Good question and they are! These can be used on and 86-14 8.8 rear (and 11-14 V6's as well) The only thing I would recommend would be picking up a new Gear Install Kit for the '02! Let me know if you have any other questions and I'm here to help!

Alex

Thanks Alex, I thought so. I already have a bearing set that I didn't need when I installed the ring & pinion in the '13.

Have a great day
