Raxiom turn signal flasher relays

Can one of you guys from AM elaborate on the differences between the V1 and V2 flasher relays?

Raxiom Modified Turn Signal Flasher V1

Raxiom Modified Turn Signal Flasher V2

I replaced all my tail light bulbs with LED's and thought that I might need this new flasher because it is specifically made for LED's, but that is all I know about the new version. I just bought a V2 tom replace my version 1 that I purchased for my sequential tail light kit a few years back from AM. Thanks for your help.

Hey Azure,

Great question and you pretty much have the answer right on the money.

When you install the original flasher on LED's, they do not slow it down enough to the point where we want them! The V2 came in to fix that problem and is working great.

That being said, Raxiom made two separate versions as the V2 installed on an incandescent bulb setups will slow it down too much.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.

-Will

That is all fixed my friend! I cleared it out a little while ago.

Should be good to go!

Does it add a little resistance for the LED bulbs as well? I haven't added resisters and would rather not if I don't need to.

So, will the Raxiom V2 relay eliminate the need for resistors for the LED's?

So, I received my relay today and installed it. I'm not sure what the point of this version 2 flasher is because it did nothing for my setup. It still will not flash the turn signals for my sequential tail lights. It's functioning the same as my version 1 flasher. Am I missing something? Please help

Added resistors and this relay is still faster than with my incandescent bulbs. Why? This relay is for LEDs so it should be a no-load relay. That way you wouldn't need load resistors.

Hey man,

That's definitely odd! Shoot me over a PM so we can dive into this further.

I'd love to contact my guys over at Raxiom on your behalf.

Here's what they look like with LED bulbs and resistors front/back, with the new V2 LED flasher relay.
