Pissed with American Muscle service

I ordered kooks headers they arrive today, lethal performance is having 15% off.

Going to refuse package and just order through Lethal better service

I called AM to see if they can credit me the difference for my next purchase.

They said no. When lethal has gave me credit when AM had a part on sale.

Super pissed with AM makes me not want to order through them. I've boughten so much though AM. They should see what I've spent in the past.

Looks like I'll be going some place else to order my

Carbon fiber drive shaft/ cold air intake and tuner. Plus all future parts.

Instead of refusing the order why didn't you address that it was cheaper elsewhere? I'm sure they would price match.

Pissed with American Muscle service

We've got our own personal AM rep. He's given good results for many. You could PM him and get this issue addressed.

Honestly this entire thing just sounds childish. All these Mustang parts sellers have dozens of sales throughout the year. Most have sales every single month for the entire month, and then on top of that would have a holiday sale as well.

You can't always predict when something is going to go on sale. And shouldn't expect a place to honor someone's sale. It is nice if they do honor the other company's sale price, but in no way should it be expected because it is not THEIR sale. Its just the way of life, you can't always have everything go your way.

But Alex will probably hook you up anyway, even though he doesn't have to.

Oh, and probably would have been a better idea to post this in the AM section instead of a tech section. Since there is no tech purpose to this.... Moved.

I agree with you that it should not be expected to price match. Instead of the op just going ahead and trying to cancel order and expecting refund he should of addressed this to AM and see if he could get the diff. I believe that one should always allow a business/ company to make it right if possible before getting their panties In a bunch. Most of the time business are willing to make it right but some don't give that chance

I asked for price match

And me being childish ?? As much money as I've spent it's the least they could do for me is price match and give me credit for my next purchase of a drive shaft.

Do you expect AM to credit people on every part they've ordered if it goes on sale at a later date on another site? A price match at the time of order is one thing, but getting upset because they won't price match after the order is completed and delivered is unfair.

Why not just return them for a refund and order them through the other vendor?

Well when the order is 1498.13 @ 15% off

That's a hassle to refuse the package have it sent back. Wait.... For the credit to show on your card then purchase and wait again for the package to come. Also keep business at the same company. Keep a loyal customer who has spent a lot of money.

Based off what I'm hearing, it's not "the least they could do". It's what you are demanding being done.

Sorry, but I don't see them in the wrong. I'm sure they would have price matched, no problem. You should have brought that to their attention. They have crappy tuning, but they have the best customer service out there.

I've returned items to AM and saw my refund in a matter of just a few days. I guess you just have to ask yourself if a week or two of waiting is worth $200+. Plus, if using a CC, it's not even coming out of your bank. For me, it would be a no-brainer.

Just because you spend a lot of money doesn't mean you are entitled to special treatment. Overall, you are a very small fraction of their revenue. Just because a company won't cater to your demands doesn't mean they have bad service, it means you are spoiled and didn't get what you wanted. Either send it back, get the refund, and order the new ones or just take the hit and get on with your life. No one is going to feel sorry for you just because you didn't know somewhere else was going to have a sale at a future time.

From a business stand point. It's hard to get new customers. Even harder to keep them.

Not a good idea to bad mouth them on a public forum perhaps you could of talked to the csr manager to help you before you posted on there. After all you ordered it they sent it .

If the item wasn't on sale at the time of purchase, there's no reason any company should price match.

I think you just ordered at the wrong time unfortunately, it happens. I've had a couple mishaps with AM with wrong parts/ damaged parts. Actually happened on 4 separate orders but I'll keep ordering from them because they always make it right.

Fixed that for you. And sometimes in business you make more money by the customers you don't keep. The customer is NOT always right, sometimes they are just "jerks" and not worth keeping.

Ok i still meant "new". Yes there's ppl that are jerks and yes I agree with you about not wasting time with them or money cause if they're jerks most likely ur comping something or discounting it. So yes one could potentially lose money if they continued to try to please them. So to me if someone can't be pleased no matter what you do they won't be a customer. At least a steady customer. When I say "new" customer I mean a customer that continues to support my business. So I guess "new" and "good" go hand in hand. Also when i say "new" it is true because if they are good customers to the competition it is hard to real them in especially if they are loyal. Capice?!!!

It's an adjective though, and not a verb. Doesn't stop it from occasionally slipping from my mouth though

Sorry about the delay OP but with a sale like that how could I even say no to that. Shoot me a PM so I can take a closer look at the order here and get all the math straightened out because I know their sale is off right now.

Well, I hit a stopping point with having 2 mustangs. When that happened, I wasn't using this site and fell out of touch for awhile. So I PM'd Bucko thinking I wouldn't need my account anymore.

Then my tax filing backfired on me. But news is, my wife's parents actually took over the 2011 I had. So now I just have the 2014 again. So time to mod again and finish making it the beast I set out for it to be.

Also, having a fresh restart is kinda nice. That other profile was cluttered. One thing I am concerned about, is if all the posts/threads went bye-bye. Because that would stink.

Trying to get a quote for a full suspension for my car. Regardless of what others say, I am putting an Airaid CAI and BBK TB back on it just because I can. LOL
