Ha ha ha. Great point. Ronnie, I booked my room at the Hampton Inn just three miles from your Best Western Hotel. Because I'm an employee of Hilton Hotel properties I get Hampton hotels for $30 night.

I'll just meet you guys and party at the Best Western Friday night. Lol

PA is a long way from GA. However, Myrtle Beach is only a few hours.

It makes for a nice drive with the top down.

Come on Mister Revvv,
There will be people driving from California to this show. I drive up from Daytona Beach ,Florida. This event at the Maple Grove Drag strip park is "ONLY MUSTANGS" Not like Myrtle beach where you fight the traffic and have other brands all over the place mingling in with the Mustangs.
Myrtle Beach is fine and I did enjoy it """ONCE""" but not worth doing it again. I have been to the American Muscle show four times and can't hardly wait to go again. It is the "WOODSTOCK" of Mustang shows.

I know, I went there a few years ago and have "NO" desire to go back. It is to spread out, To many other cars, To much traffic and to expensive.
Not really fun for me.

Ronnie,

How is the Best Western? My 14 year old son is my Wingman and while I like to have fun, I'd like to avoid him being at a Bourbon tasting in the parking lot all night.

Good deal Ox. A little crazy is cool. Animal House 2 may be a bit much... If it were just me, that's a different story!

Die is trying to get me to fly out. I dunno, might do it. I need to make sure nothing is happening at work before I can commit to it though. Either way the ox isn't going to make it and it's a shame because she has come so far since the last show.

Hi Hampton CIT,
It was fine the past two years with a lot of Mustangs in the parking lot playing music and a lot of the cars had cool lights under the hood and inside to stimulate the atmosphere.
Not a rowdy "RAVE" type party but just a lot of Mustang owners enjoying a cool get together.
Ronnie

Now you have me curious. I could drive up through the mountains. Definitely a drop top kind of drive.

I would certainly need new tires once I got my little play toy home.

.....and I agree, Myrtle Beach traffic sucks.

I would love to make the drive. The show sounds like a good time.

Unfortunately my transmission says I am not driving up the East coast, and definitely not through the mountains. It would be a great drive with the top down though.

In my mind I can hear the sound of Mustang exhaust notes echoing off the carved granite and rock. Then reality hits and I remember that I have an input bearing, and possibly a few gears that whine and cry.

Hi Kevin,
You do say:

That is more reason to go, Break out the credit cards and pack your food. ( I do) and put that GT on the road.
Ronnie
My first time up. I just bought my 2012 and just put Magnaflows on it and Me & Mario hit the highway up to Pennsylvania before it was in Maple Grove.

Tracks screaming our name for August!

Keep an eye out for the video in the next few weeks and I'll make sure to post the link in here.
