Every person has their reason for getting a V6. I could have gotten the V8 but I was sure I wasn't going to enjoy all that POWER under the hood. Considering where I live, my driving habits, and I rarely go to the track.
The V6 is a perfect fit for me; cheap insurance, a good amount of horsepower 305, awesome car to drive daily, good mileage (which is the least of my concerns) and the list goes on.
In the future I may get a V8 who knows.

Chill. It would be a close race but the GT is still more likely to win. I say likely and not "GT will leave you in the dirt" because of all the variables in racing.
I just don't like bashing a new guy in the forum and doubting himself about getting his car. I know I have a v6 but common just keep it to yourself, either a v6 or a v8 it's still a stang there's no reason of be littling the guy were not paying for his car.
