Vehicle Name "Rachel"
Year 2008
Make Ford
Model Mustang GT (Deluxe)
Color Performance White
Packages none
2008 Ford Mustang GT (Deluxe)
2008 Ford Mustang GT (Deluxe)
History Bought this car new as a custom order with the sole intent to covert it to a pure weekend track car. I am still in the process after all this time and I hope to finish in this year for the 2014 season. Mod philosophy is lower weight and better balance. This will not be an exercise in big HP. Hoping to get to 3200 lbs, with good rubber, and real solid mechanical grip. Reliability will be key point too...no superchargers here. (Second pic is her brand new and untouched)
Exterior
2008 Ford Mustang GT (Deluxe) Exterior
Carbon fiber hood w/ hood pins.

Small front splitter.

Various decals.

Interior
90% removal of interior, including stereo and a/c. Full Sparco interior with competition seat (no slider) and quick-release Sparco wheel. Full harness, of course!

No cage is planned (I know, it's wise to have it, but it is heavier and not the cheapest).

In-Car Entertainment
Only a screaming V-8 sound through the cat-less Borla exhaust!

Under the Hood
Ford Racing Power Pack, blue valve covers, Borla off-road long tubes, x-pipe and mufflers.

A/C delete pulley.

Steeda motor mounts.

Suspension
Ford Racing adjustable FR3 Handling Pack, Steeda rear control arms, front bushings, bump-steer kit.

19x9.5 OZ racing wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires in 265/35-19 size.

Other
2008 Ford Mustang GT (Deluxe) Other
Full comp brake set up. 15" Stoptech Trophy kit up front w/ Agent47 cooling duct kit. 2013 GT500 rear OE brake upgrade (13.75" rotors). Castrol race fluid and Hawk DTC Race pads.

3.73 Ford Racing Gears with TORSEN differential.

One-piece aluminum drive shaft.

Thanks, man. Lots of work...seemingly even more money. I'll get there someday.

Sweet car... How much weight have you got out with what you've done thus far?
