Who would win?

I know there are a lot of threads about who would win... But I'd like some personal experience/what you've seen happen. So it's looking like by next summer. I'll have a friend with a 2011 camaro ss(already has it, all stock, auto), a 2012 gt500, and me with a 2003/2004 SVT cobra. Who would win at the track?

Gt500 obviously, but by how much?
How much more would I have to do to an SVT cobra to not just win most the time, but kill the camaro under about $1500?

Can I get some help?

Well,
The 1/4 mile time for the 2012 GT500 is 12.7 @ 116 from what I have read.
The Terminator is usually 12.7 @ 111 for a hardtop with a good driver.

So it would pretty much end up being a drivers race if all else was equal.

Not sure what else you would need to do, maybe a pulley change?

Lol... That's freakin awesome... And yeah, a 2.81" pulley, longtubes, and a good tune will apparently get me about 460rwhp... And run about 12.2...

Re: Who would win?

Well the times in magazines are BS for the 2011 GT500 and the Camaro SS. The GT500 has gone 11.1s with nothing but a tire change. And 11.6's with stock tires. The camaro SS has gone as low as 12.4 on bone stock tires. Average you see for each is high cause people can't drive them or launch them.

If either are modded you could have your hands full. Are you guys running street tires at the track? Cause really if so you all are hindering your selves.

Well... I would be the only one modding mine by then... They're not really the type of guys that would mod their cars, they'll both be stock. And yeah, both of them would have street tires, mine might have street radials if I bought some by then.

Pulley, exhaust, tune, CAI, auxiliary idler pulley, irs brace, sticky tires and that will get you deep the 12s maybe even a high 11 @ 116-118 mph. Also your stock Termi should beat the SS handily
