They CAN be stretched into the 14s. Not impossible. We just see a lot of 15s now because the cars are old.

My best is 13.91 @ 98 w/2.22 60ft on Goodyear F1's. Stupid missed 4th right near the end of the 1/4. Still working on my launch to get 60ft to like 1.9 to 2.0.

5/23/12 @ Lucas Oil Raceway...

Attachment 53969

Kinda afraid to get drag radials as this is my DD and I don't want to break stuff. I have a spare set of 17x8 bullitts and thinking of getting something closer to DR's just to help with my launch handicap.

Man, I'm still chicken about DR's. I'm afraid I'm gonna bust something. You'd think it would be ok being so close to stock.

Just don't launch the crap out of it, feather the clutch or something. You're leaving at least half a second on the table.

I'm kinda wondering if these Goodyears are crappy. Though, I definitely need to improve on my end, I think different tires are in order for my next set.

I ran a 14.1 on a set of Generals... You should be absolutely killing me. You should just work on the launch.

I'm looking to go again possibly in July. I should have an even better feel for the car by then. That will be my 8th run, so surely I'll get it by then. I'm a good daily stick driver, just new with this kinda power and launching it. It's funny though, I was so excited with that last run cause it felt good, then got the block from 3rd to 4th. I don't power shift so I never grind when I miss, but I'm sure ppl still chuckle.
