Did better tonight...

Went to Lucas Oil Raceway this evening for Wild Wednesday to try and redeem myself for my last vist. I did much better this time! Still not where I feel like I should be but with street tires, I guess I shouldnt complain.

1st run - 14.18 @ 101.9MPH
2nd run - 13.91 @ 98.11MPH (got a block in 4th so could have been ~13.8)

The reason why I feel better about tonight is that I was more consistent with the very first visit back in the beginning of April and my car ran great. If I really want to get around what this car is supposed to get, I'll need to get drag radials. Still, it's loads of fun

You probably would have been around 13.6 on the other run if you didn't have trouble, get those dr and you'll be running real good times.

With my heavy *** convertible, automatic, full exhaust, (shorties h and flows) udp, tb, plenium, Sct custom tune, intake, stock gears and street tires... I barely broke into 13's. I was hitting low 14's all day until it started to cool down at night and finally hit 13.99! I was not too happy. I thought it would at least be a little quicker than that!

I really need to get a short throw shifter, but since the tuners such a big difference, I'll go with that first.

Thanks! Yup I hear the PI swap is a big improvement for <99's. Do you know if you need supporting mods for that upgrade?
