First time at the track!

More pictures and info to come.

This might be the most fun thing I've ever done....

I was nervous at first and didn't even run for like two hours after the track opened. There weren't that many people, only 2 other Mustangs - a V6 and a 2012 Boss. A couple nice Vettes and a V6 Camaro. I started talking to the guy with the Boss, he was super cool and he rode with me while I went.

The picture is of my first run with a Trans Am.

I'm waiting to race the guy with the Boss right now. He said my car felt faster than his when he rode in it but I don't believe him haha

Bosses actually have less Torque than GTs, they have a bit more Horsepower though... That could have been why he said that, or he was just being nice.

What was your 60' time?

Really just needs better throttle control, you can get street tires under 2 seconds

There are awesome if you want a drive able street tire possibly for auto x. They are wearing nice.

I had previously bought Bridgestone pole position PS1. Not as good traction as the PSS and wore down almost completely in 3 months!!!

I drive only 8k miles a year... City mostly. Now some are "spirited" but 3 months was nuts.

For drag duty, I would probably get slicks on a spare set of wheels next time.

I may hafta get the pilot sport a/s because unfortunately will need to drive through winters. I'm hoping they are similar.

I've been thinking about drag radials for a set of 17x8's I have, but they aren't cheap.

I'm pretty sure they won't have near the traction. But I'll bet they are wasaaay cheaper than the PSS!!!

Good job out there, and it's great to see women interested in racing. Both you and the car were looking great!
