Vs boss 2012

So today at the track, i raced with a boss 2012 and i was always pulling away since the start and ended with a little more than a car length, the guy was surprised considering all i have in my car are tints lol.
Has anybody had the same experience with a car that was suppose to beat you but didnt?

Did you ever think that maybe he didn't know how to drive it?

You all know the boss isn't setup for drag racing and has less low end tq than a stock gt right? That said, stock for stock it's s drivers race.

The timing machine was not working at "the track".
It had to have been the driver because even stock for stock the boss runs like 12.4 compare to gt 12.7.
But the guy is not going to say that he sucks so i guess he was not so good.

Sorry if i interpreted this the wrong way, and please correct me if im wrong, but why attack the op for telling a story? He asked a question and gave an example of what happened to him, why criticize?

But good job op! I still have yet to even see a boss on the track here.

I have... with a Vette and a Camaro SS that was not stock at all (I am) and I don't think I should have beaten so badly (even though I think I have the faster car with equal/no mods).

The Vette was having a bad day and the Camaro didn't know what he was doing (although I didn't either, I handled it better haha).

I've been at the track with a 2012 Boss with mods but didn't get to race him because it started raining. He rode in my car while I ran it a few times and was really impressed with it, he said my car felt faster even though I was running mid-13s at the time and he was running low-12s. I'm guessing it's the low-end torque making it feel that way.

It can't be the heat if you ran together, obviously you were driving in the same conditions haha

I've beaten cars at the track that should have spanked me but I knew it was the driver. I've seen Shelby's and new 5.0s at the track running 14s which they should be slapped for.
