If you're not cutting 1.7 60' on dr's you need the driver mod is all i'm saying. You have to play with the rpm's, burnout and pressure to find that happy spot.

That is why your mph is up and et is too high, losing the race on the launch. 1.7 should be a nice solid launch on any v8 car

If you're bangin 1.7 60fts on street tires in a modestly modded mustang you're a beast. But I'm gonna have to see a video.

If you are on street tires working towards a 2.0 is a good goal. You want a little tire spin off the line and roll into the throttle when it starts to hook.

Yea my best runs have 2.0 60fts. That's exactly what I do. Not very consistent yet though

Hey how did you run today? I think I saw you. Black with red interior? This was my first trip out with the cobra. Hit a 12.93 (missed 4th and trapped 89mph), 13.0, and a 12.87.

That's pretty much what I anticipated. Better than my first ever pass, 15.17 lmao. But honestly that's what I've seen most basically stock s197s run. Don't be too discouraged. After you make 10 or so passes you'll start to see your times drop.

They help to a point. Summer tires start to get squirrelly when it gets too cold.

One more thing that will help is some drag radials. You probably won't see 13's on street tires.

Well I get 13s on street tires, but I've got quite a bit more done. I think if he can drop his 60fts down closer to a 2.0 he's def got a shot. He's not all that far off. My best pass was a 13.56 at 105 on street tires with a 2.08 60ft. I think it's possible but it's gonna take some practice. And maybe some power shifting..... Lol

Yeah if you have the mods to make up for a terrible launch it can be done.

Looks like thats around 410 ft, according to google. Thats good, you dont have to worry about converting. If I remember right, you were trapping around 111mph, right? Can't remember your 60ft, but if its over 2, then you can get under 13 as you are now.

My 60 ft was 1.992 and I'm sure I can get it lower just have to try more. I don't have a tuner yet and I really want to get longtubes so hopefully if I get those mods I can get it in the high 12's

If you can keep that 60ft, just the tuner would get you where you want I bet.
