Autocross 2011 5.0 FTW!

Went to a local autocross event. 3rd time at this track first time with this configuration. It was a blast and I took the fastest time of any car on street tires. Even beat a vette on slicks. Best part, beat my dad in his 2009 M3 by 0.3 seconds.

If you look at the last autocross vid I put it was just a sea of cones. I DNFed my first two runs. It was a really confusing layout.

It does look difficult to see at speed. I don't think I'd do that well either. It looks really fun though and I'd definitely try it.

Well done.

We all get lost in the sea-o-cones sometimes. That's why you take advantage of the course walk time--and walk it as many times as you can.

Yea I was going to say it did look tricky. The ones I attend have more cones and its easier to run the course.
