Finally got her to the 1/8th

Well I finally got her to the track. First pass had a great 60 foot time of 2.00 then I nailed second gear, lit the rear tires and made an abrupt left turn. I was able to gather it back up without getting into the guard rail and ran a 10.08. I never did get the car to stick no matter how easy I launched or rolled into second gear. Here was my best pass of the day. I was hoping to get into the 7's but I managed mid 8's. a set of slicks would make all the difference. Guess I have a goal now and a base run. It was still a blast and I was able to take my sons as passengers. SWEET!!!

That's actually not too bad! My Cobra was also only running mid 8's on crappy street tires... I had the same problem spinning in 1st and 2nd. It's still fun no matter what times you run! The more you get to know your car, and the track you'r running, your times will improve.

A set of good tires never hurts either... lol

I'd like to see this thing on slicks. 7's may be a long shot but hey...that's the goal.
