So youre racing it while trying to sell it and posting slips on the same site that youre selling it on? Doesnt seem like the greatest idea.

It's letting a potential buyer know how fast it is

Agreed. It is a Mustang, not a Taurus. They're all beat on. ALL.

Thats right. No one buys a mustang to drive it like a prius. But none the less im very pleased with a 12.5. Crazy thing is it has more than that in it. I ran out of 4th way before the line and 5th doesnt have enough oomph to pull harder in the distance needed to gain any tenths. Now since i have 3.73's it would def need either a higher rev limit in 4th or taller gears. I think a 3.55 would be better suited for the 1/4.

Now having said all that i know it is capable of a 12.3 easy.

and NO tune? are there 2013 dyno's out yet? 12.5 is already pushing it on stock platform. Did 2013 get some sort significant changes?

They usually dyno on a jet around 380. Automatics make a little less. I think driver really plays a huge role. Trust me im very confident if i had a little more room in 4th i could hit 12.3 easy providing it had a 3.55 or 3.31. Im sure i can hit 11's with a tune. A good tune, not some base generic tune that comes with the tuning device.

Im sorry, but if you choose a car thats proven to be tracked, which can cause you warranty issues, over a garage queen for the same money, you deserve what you get. Buying a street car because it supposedly is tenths of a second faster, with all of the parameters involved, is just plain laughable. All the slips tell me is that the OP is squeezing as much fun out of his car as possible before unloading it, which may be great for him, but not so much for the next buyer. And FYI: because this is a public forum, Ford can use information posted here to deny warranty claims. Good luck with your sale OP, but being 2013 with so many untracked '13+s to choose from, I wouldnt touch your car with a ten foot pole.

A Mustang is a vehicle that should perform the same babied or raced for years to come because it was built for THAT purpose.

Example, no one opinion is all encompassing. I would buy his car before another BECAUSE he raced it and has shown proven performance. Unusually good performance as well.

Every Mustang is abused. Fact. (sort of lol) If you floored it ONCE in 100k miles, you abused it.

Ummm your point is what????? Buy a oil burning garage queen. The motor NEEDS to be abused to a point once In awhile, have you ever been behind a crown Vic with a sweet little old lady driving it??? And it burns oil with low mileage, regular oil changes (every 3000 to because that's still what they believe) and never seen over 3000 rpm.

What's the difference between the track and on ramp of the highway, WOT is WOT no matter where it's at. Now get some grapes and see what that car can do

actually the car only seen the strip a handful of times. i never had a chance where the weather was warm enough to hook up to see what it can actually do. once i got the opportunity this month i jumped on it. i like to always know what my cars are capable of. plus i had to see if this car was actually faster in stock form than my built up tuner car i previously had. it is but not by much.

i dont abuse my car. its garaged everyday, not driven in bad weather, and always kept clean. it has zaino on it since the day i got it. i dont street race the car ever, and i dont tailgate. the paint is flawless, no nicks, scratches or chips. ive always put in 93 octane no matter what. i just dont trust 87 cheap gas. i take care of my vehicles. the schedule maintenance is always done on time without fail either.

a car that isnt opened up in the performance dept from time to time is actually more abused than a car that is beaten on daily. i didnt track the car to abuse it because its for sale, if i was gonna do that i would be posting a crap ton of burnout vids on here like i see so many stang owners do on youtube. i just dont see the point of unnecessary harsh deliberate abuse.

I'm with you on this. If someone doesn't take their Mustang to the track that means it probably gets beat on often on the street.

12.5 is pretty good but I'm pretty sure you have a plethora if suspension mods, your statements seem to be a little misleading telling everyone it's bone stock.

I'm not trying to "call anyone out" I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page. I recall lcas and relocation brackets among a couple other mods, correct?

EDIT: just reread one of your earlier posts. Looks like the lcas were mentioned. But all of your suspension mods help with grip as well for better track times, so the title of the thread is misleading

Yes, ANY mod is NOT 'bone stock'.

Well what i mean by bone stock is no power adders. I have lca's and drop springs and shifter bracket. Drop springs only hinder launching and the lca's just stop the hop. The shifter bracket is used to allow me to engage the gear like im supposed to be able to do. All i did was fix the factory bugs from ford.

In my opinion, no car should hop when under heavy performance. So all i did was make the car drive the way it should have been from the factory. If its gonna hop, well then there is really no difference racing with a flat tire then.
