At the track last night

Heres my best pass, it was a loss but it was my best slip. My mods are bbk lts magnapacks and catted mid pipe and mgw short throw. Tires are 315 nt555r. Last time i went to the track i was pulling 2.7-2.8 60 ft times so i dropped off some time on my 60 ft time. And was starting to run consistent 9.8 1/8 times. What can i do to get these times down?

Well it prolly has to do with it being a ****ty track. Its not prepped really like other better tracks. Its in a parking lot. Just wanted to mention it is a legit event so i dont get in trouble. Its ran by san diego pd.

V6 is a peg leg right? That doesn't help, but even on a bad track, a 2.2 or 2.1 is attainable with practice. What is your launch technique?

I couldn't tell ya' exactly since all tires are different relative to their ambience but you should keep trying until your 60' foot times are at leaast in the 1.7XX

those nt555 run best when there nice and warm. adjust your mirror so you can see the rear tires then spin them up till you get thick smoke. you dont need to make a cloud but smoke um up for sure...
