I just leave my back seat out all of the time.
I removed the two fasteners that hold down the seat so they won't poke holes in the seat backs.

Good luck!

Nice, yeah I keeping in for when I have a second passenger and the odd item to carry. Just weighed the car, 3345 without me in it and a quarter tank of gas. With me and a passenger (155lbs) it tips in right at 3700

Well the rain got to us again, track was shut down til 8:15ish with probably 40 cars ahead of me. Only managed to make one pass, ran a 15.3 at 91mph with a passenger. If I had been by myself it may have been a very good run.

My phone is being stupid or I would upload some pics

Does it ever stop raining there?
Haha. That track is at such a high altitude, the rain you get there would probably be evaporated by the time it made it down to sea level.
You need to find a place to autocross around there JDF... They usually race in the rain.
Here in sunny CA they do, anyway.

This is the first summer I can remember that has had this much rain in it.
I know they run Auto X somewhere up here, but I haven't checked it out at all to see when and where they run it.

How close are you to Pikes Peak International Raceway?
It looks like the SCCA and some other clubs have events there.

Decided to head out to the track tonight by myself. Car weighs 3385 without me, 3540 with. It's 70° tonight so I'm hoping to get some good passes.

First pass was a 15.24 at 92mph. But as is my luck it's ****ing raining again. I can see sunlight behind the clouds so hopefully it doesn't rain too long.

You're doing AWESOME JDF!!!!!
That time corrected for density altitude is a 13.76 @ 101.559 mph!

Awesome! What do 2Vs usually run at seal level? Do you know? Apparently I can still run better than most New Edge GTs up here, I was talking to a tech inspector with a 2000 GT like mine and he said his best was a 16.3, but I think he can't drive for ****.

We got rained out again so that was my only pass. That makes 4 trips/attempted trips that have been screwed up cause of the rain

13.9 is the average.
When your times are converted they dont look so bad do they?
You did very well!

Make sure to post the DA from now on so that we can convert the times to sea level.

I'll try to remember to do that. I know a lot of time is still locked away in my 60'. That run was a 2.3 so I know i could have run a decent time if it was a 2.1 or 2.2

Fingers crossed today, weather forecast says sunny and 80s all week so I'm gonna head to the track tonight and pray for no surprise rain. I don't think I'll be anywhere close to low 15s with these new tires unfortunately, but I'll give it a shot.

Will do. I'm curious to see what these tires will do at the track cause so far they haven't been very impressive as far as street traction goes

Yes.
If the DA was 8910 that is the corrected time.
You got there early tonight.
Do another pass and let's see how it goes!

Down to 8201DA with a nice tailwind. I've been running 15.2s and 15.3s with a passenger ranging anywhere from 91mph to 94mph (new record for me)

Ok. Let's see...

-Calculating-

At a 8,201 ft density altitude your times, corrected for sea level are:

15.2 @ 91mph = 13.625 @ 101.093 mph
15.2 @ 94mph = 13.625 @ 104.426 mph
15.3 @ 91mph = 13.715 @ 101.093 mph
15.3 @ 94mph = 13.715 @ 104.426 mph

Those are some decent times for your car with a passenger on street tires!

Hell yeah! I was surprised that I was getting those times with a passenger. Unfortunately she took all my time slips with her so I'll have to get them tomorrow and post them up. I think I made like 12 passes tomight.

And you beat her by more than you think because the DA calculations are different for supercharged cars...

Well I managed to make 12 passes last night, about half of them were with a passenger. Surprisingly enough my fastest pass was with a passenger too.
