First time at track

Oooookay, so tomorrow I'm heading to the track with Oh2freshstang. It's going to be my first time. Any tips in how to launch or do things correctly? I don't want to look like a fool out there. Car is a 2002 V6. BBK headers, x-pipe pypes dual exhaust, CAI, sway bar, welded strut bar, harness bar, automatic, Goodyear street tires with 80% tread. Tips? Comments? I'm hoping to get at least high 17's

Don't try to launch too hard you'll just spin the wheels. Make sure you practice on your launch before so you know what to expect when you launch. Like someone posted on another thread about the same thing race your race don't worry about the guy next to you. Good luck and have fun you two

I did horrible my first try. Spun tires all the way to the end. Second one was against 13 v6, third was against a 240 sx sleeper, second to last against a cobra, and last one was against a Porsche. I'm happy with my 1/8th time. What can I do to break into the 9's? Car #6536

I was nervous because when I got there, a beautiful NE Mach 1 had slammed against the wall and pretty much totaled the car.

On and Oh2freshstang almost walked over a Saleen
