Skill, and experience. Fast cars have drivers that jump.

Is this going to be one on one racing, or simply the fastest time down the track?

Then skill and experience. The Challenger and Chargers are heavier. Not sure what their rated HP/TQ numbers are for an RT.

Hmmm... slow and slower...

You'll need a good pair of running shoes!

2009 rts you could beat stock with performance package. My car with 3.55s and a tune beat a newer one by 4/10s of a second in the 1/8th mile.

Really, you all think the Challenger R/T is that slow? I mean it does have the 5.7 right?

---------- Post added at 05:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:29 PM ----------

Okay never mind, just looked up the specs. 4000 lbs and only 375 HP out of the 5.7. Geez.

My brother lost to a charger rt by .02 and thats because he spun like crazy with a 2.38 60' and spun through 2nd and into 3rd. He's just got an or x pipe and axle backs. "Running shoes" should be all you need for him. The challenger on the other hand is a whole different animal.

All 05-06 manual GTs had 3.55 from the factory while autos had 3.31. In 07 they did make it an option though

ANYWAY, OP the charger will be a W for you if you can minimize wheel spin, cant say the same for the challenger. Better bring your A game for that one.

Beat a charger the other night with my stock sixer. 14.876 vs 15.050. He was ticked off too. Raced me to the turn off.

From what ive seen the challenger is heavier than the charger. Theres more vids of stangs beatin challenger rts than charger rts. Their 0-60 is close to a second slower than the stang too. I dunno about the newest models of them.
