Mach 1 vs 3v

Have a 3v with long tubes, h pipe, slp axle, Airaid intake, bama tune, 3.55s thinking about calling out this Mach 1 for all I know it's stock. Will I have a problem beating him? Thanks

It will be a good race.. close to even cars so it depends on the driver

I definitely wouldn't underestimate the Mach 1. I've owned both a 2004 Mach 1 and a 2007 GT within a few months of each other, both had full bolt ons pretty quickly! With bolt ons, the Mach 1 was definitely faster at the track and the 2007 GT was much smoother to drive. I couldn't get out of the 13's with my 2007 GT and was able to run low to mid 12's pretty consistently with my Mach 1.

If you're GT is pretty heavily modified and the Mach 1 is stock, it should be an exciting race. I'm not really sure what the outcome would be, but I'd love to hear about it.

Keep us posted and let us know what you both run!

-Dan

3v<4v

That's just how it is... I've never seen full bolt on 05-09s break 13, but I've seen plenty of machs do it. Even stock if they have a good driver can run a decent 13 second time. Weight is power in a race unfortunately

Resale value and interior won't help you in a drag race

Me personally no. But the previous owner had it dyno tuned and it made 470 on a 100 degree day. I would nearly bet I'm over 500 on a cold night. Makes 10 pounds in the heat and 12 at night

maybe lower? Do you have any suspension work? Maybe 3.55 would work for you

---------- Post added at 02:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:52 PM ----------

Or cruise on drag radials lol

Lol nothing like a whipple. I'm long tubes short of full bolt ons and AED tuned. Nearly full suspension minus sway bars. 20s in the front and 15s in the back on race day. Mgw shifter/bracket going in this weekend. Basically just all bolt on stuff. Plan on going Paxton in the spring but we will see. My lightning takes my paychecks

Car went 12.84 bone stock and haven't been back lol
