You can make the 6 fast.... Sure the gt is a better starting point. But if I slapped a supercharger on there I would **** and gt my generation up. You could make a crap civic fat if you have the time an money. All I'm saying is it's my first car it's unique to me and I want to make it fast. I don't new the gt preaching. I came to ask for help not to be put down. I'm guessing something is mechanically wrong with the car as it was dynoed yesterday and was not reaching even stock... The garage is looking at it and should have it fixed soon. They said my fuel system may just need a simple cleaning. I should be makeing 215 hp they said with me mods at the crank. I should have been able to beat the malibu. There goin to install a LSD and 4.10 gears and long tubes so that should bring it up to speed.

Its your first car. Have fun with it. I've got the GT and it isn't that fast. Like you said, you can make a junk civic run 10's with a few grand. Your first car is always a learning experience and seeing you have a V6, i'd say you've got a good starting point. Once you find out what's up with the car, you'll be beating the Malibu no problems.

Yeah this outcome isn't shocking to me. Malibu probably killed you in gearing. I've had a couple pulls against 96-2010 v6 mustang in my Mazda 6 wagon... And things didn't go well for them either lol.
