First time at the track - Stock '12 GT

First time to the dragstrip last weekend. I went to Countyline dragstrip 1/8 mile in Hialeah, FL at 7pm-9pm. My 2012 5.0 with Steeda CAI, Race tune, stock 3.31, everything else was stock.

I made 7 passes, best was 8.615 in the 1/8 mile and 2.015 60ft.

My biggest issue was that the car would roll at the line so instead of launching at 2K or 3K RPM I would have to launch from iddle because my foot was on the brakes most of the time trying not to get the red light.

Here is a video

Sounds like you had fun. You'll figure it all out. That 60' was a great number.

Not much better.. Thats a hell of a 60' for what he has! There's a goat here one of my buddies has and he consistently cuts 1.9-2.0xx 60's on pos $90 street tires lol.

Not true. You can get a better 60 still.

That is not a good 60' no matter how you cut it.

You should not roll at the tree, sounds like a poor track?
