Who'll win?

So I've been on these forums for about a year now, and I've never seen a thread like this. I think this all the time.

Ex. I own a 2001 v6 auto with only exhaust work and a CAI done. If I were to drag a local 1997 del sol(99.9% sure stock), who would win?

That's a good q. Prolly a mustang would win.

Doesn't a del sol have that b18 that all honda fanboys want in their car so bad?

Who'll win?

Well my brother has a civic with a d15b7 and it's slower than crap lol so idk lol.

Mustang might win because of the mods it has. Hondas are pretty light thkugh

Edit: I'm thinking the honda might won just based on weight and it has a 5 speed and mustang has no tune to fix the auto

It's called bench racing or paper racing and I like reading threads like these too.

But most people will just say "go to a track and found out" or something like that.

Personally I like reading new stats and stuff I didn't know before so I like it

Questions like these get asked all the time on here but they usually turn into a street racing thread (which we don't allow) and they get deleted faster than you can blink. If that's what you are leading this thread into, please don't. If you want to post questions like this please post them in "At the track". They have a better chance of sticking around if you do it that way.

Yeah, god forbid we have any "fun" on here. Lol

I mean I get it, but it still seems ridiculous at times. Anywho. You would probably win...at the track.

It's not about ruining anyone's fun. There are a ton of kids on this forum and we don't want to set a bad example of letting them think it's "cool" to street race. It puts innocent peoples lives in danger and that's "not cool". Nothing ridiculous about it at all.

Moved to "At the track".

Nah, I'm not up for street racing. Strictly track so other members and myself will have an idea of what to expect

You will win those things are boats!! 470hp 13.2 stock in the 1/4 if the person can drive, you should run low 12,s with your mods,I would think the srt8 would run high 12s if not low 13,s

You'll win. My friend drives her dad's turbo'ed Sky (auto) and my 2010 GT beat her. Isn't your 4v 4.6 just ab as fast as my 3v 4.6? Plus, you've got a lighter car than I do.

Straight pipe, tune, I think hes got some drag radials and an auto. Thats all thats done to it.
Ive got an 04 Mach full exhaust (LT all the way back), lowered, uca, lca, 5 speed with a short throw, Mach 400 stage 2 clutch, 31 spline axles, 4.10s, 75 shot of N2O, and am going to get it dyno tuned.. Oh and slicks. I beat a bone stock 14 5.0 with my stock gears (3.55) and no spray or tune on street tires. So im just curious about this big headed mopar ******

OK, I have one. My girlfriends son has a 2014 Cayman (not the S) with PDK. I have a... well all listed in Sig line. I should win right? Based on reported 0-60 times?

I told him if we race its all computer assistance off for both cars.

Bet this would be a great race. I'd go with 2005... cars probably close to a wash but driver is noob that would make the difference. 2014 a manual?

The base Cayman is a turd. A 3.7 V6 should be able to pull one fairly easily. Your 5.0 should have no issues what so ever. The S version is a different story and would be a good race.

Bone stock 5.0 auto vs an 05 GT with DR's and 4.10's... He'd kill you off the line. You probably would catch him down the strip.
