Today is opening day at the drags here in Wichita, and I'm praying to Zuul that I can make it (work 3rd shift). I haven't taken a car to the strip in 7 years, and that was my stock auto 1988 Camaro that did a best of 16.9. Any tips on launching and shift points in my '14 GT 6spd? I'm still on stock Pirellis with the mods listed in my sig.
I'm also going to be running BAMA's 89 performance tune. Any guesses on what I should be running? When they open at 11am, the DA is forecasted to be around 2200-2300ft.
Get a wideband if you are getting canned tunes. Seriously. And definitely wear a helmet. You never know what can happen and the last thing you need is head trauma. /soapbox
If you have no way of looking at your a/f ratio how can you be sure the dude sending you your tunes didn't eff something up or something in your car is not playing nice?

You'd think that but you would not be the first person to find out they are running pig rich or way too lean from a canned tune the hard way. You are likely fine if your car is near stock but IMHO, if one is messing with the stock tune AT ALL, one should have a wideband.
I see your running 108 exactly like I said you would. That's your Wt./HP. It won't change much until you either remove and replace what's inefficient or you buy more power. You should run 12.90s stock with everything dialed in @ a DA of 1000 or less. Street tires are what they are. STREET tires. You can get a 2.000 though. Hoping to get out next week myself.
