2011 Mustang GT CS M6 1/4 mile 11.63 @ 118.01

Hi there,

How are you guys doing
I just wanted to share with you my best run so far from last weekend in Sac.

The track prep was okay, couldn't get the 60ft down to 1.5s. My best 60ft is 1.57 at Sonoma Raceway, and my best run is 11.62 @ 117.41 in Sac

Mods:

Barton Short Throw Shifter
JLT Intake
Pypes X-pipe
GT500 axle back
AED E85 dyno tune
47 Injectors

BMR Relocation bracket
Race Stars Wheel set
Rear seat delete
No spare tire

Everything else is stock.

Sorry I don't have any videos for now.

Would love to hear what you guys think and please feel free to ask any question.

Mazen

What RPMs are you leaving at? What tires are you running?

I think that I usually leave at around 5500 RPM but it was never consistent because I don't have a 2 step REV.

Rear tires; Hoosier 28 x 10.5-15, Bias-Ply

Front tires: Phoenix Drag Front Tire 4.5/27.0-17

What kind of power did you put down with that set up? Good looking car as well.

Car put down 427/400 on 91 octane & 439/404 on e85. By the way, on the same set up I have gone 11.37 and 11.4s almost consistently. Check out my YouTube Chanel ( mazen416 )

thanks for the compliment

I recently upgraded the suspension, but still needs to be dialed in though. I had better 60ft times with the stock suspension. If you saw my recent videos it's probably with the new one. The stock suspension isn't too bad I once did 1.57 60ft, 1.55, and 1.53. The track prep makes a big difference too. I'm hoping to get low 1.5s and high 1.4s with the new one once it's dialed in.

The rear seat is so light it probably does not affect your times at all. The spare tire as well. Driver weight would make as much difference.

So the real mods that are effective are the intake, the x pipe, the injectors, the tune, and of course traction. That is impressive to be that deep into the 11's! Great job!

It all adds up, weight is key. Thanks bro !
