2011 mustang gt stick.

So I just bought this car and I drive it nice as hell. Buuuut... When I go to race my friends and other people I can't take off at all because I keep burning out...... They end up winning cuz they can take off while I just sit there for 3 second.. How can I get better at takeoffs?

Practice and learn. I dont have a stick currently so can't tell you what rpms but play with that. Or do some upgrades. And if you are going to race(Idc what you do, it is your car), learn the car better first before putting the car or yourself and friends in danger.

Hey Free,

That's called RWD and Horsepower!

These mustangs are so much fun but are definitely not the easiest cars in the world to launch.

Is your suspension setup stock? What tires are you running?

We can definitely get you hookin' and bookin' but it will take some work!

Looking forward to hearing back.

-Will

One thing you can try that is free is decreasing your tire pressure to help you hook up. Other than that you are going to have to start modding. Thats the fun part though. Control arms, 2 step, sticky tires a tune so on and so forth. If you are looking to hook i would look more to adding suspension mods sounds like you got the power.
