Went to the track Wednesday

I went to Lucas Oil Raceway here in Indianapolis Wednesday evening. It was a good day for racing. It was around 82F and about 33% humidity and pretty calm. Sun was out and the track was hot.

I got two runs in.

13.81 @ 105.3 mph and 2.34 60ft
13.79 @ 105.8 mph and 2.29 60ft

My new SR Performance short shifter helped out on my shifting. I just need to get sticky tired to get the 60ft down. But I think I can do better than 2.3 with street tires. I got a question about LCA's and street tires.

Will new LCA's help with traction on street tires compared to stock? Also, I want to buy adjustable LCA's so I can drop my rear about a 1/2". Do I need uppers too if I adjust ride height?

Mods..
Borla stingers with o/r H pipe, SR performance short shifter, Bama tune, but it's really conservative.
Not really a mod, but I have 275 BF Goodrich g-force comp 2 summer tires.

I think I can do better on my launch with some clutch slipping, but I'd like to upgrade the LCA's since I'm probably gonna need new bushings because they are so old.

Nice mph. I bet with good tires and a 1.7 60ft and perfect shifting you can break into the 12w

Go with Maximum Motorsports adjustable lower control arm. The one that adjusts the spring perch since you want ride height adjust-ability. I'd stick with those and some subframe connectors. You'll be amazing on how well the car reacts with just those 2 added.

I'll be checking those out. I know for sure I'll get either adjustable or non-adjustable from MM. I've seen too many threads of people breaking SVE's and a few other of the cheaper LCA's. I was looking at getting the OEM subframe connectors that came on my Mach welded in, but I've read that they are really pretty thin compared to others I could get. It will probably be next year before I look into drag radials, but it will eventually happen. I want what you suggest to be installed before I go that direction.
