Black 2 Valve hitting up at lsx monster shoutout.

First time to be at a 1/4 mile track rather than my home 1000' track. Ran a 12.2 @ 109 at the 1/4 and 10.2 in 1000' at thunder road raceway. At my home town track ran a 10.0 @ 107. My a/f was 11.0 at wot so I'm gonna change my fuel jets to make it leaner and try and get 11's in the 1/4!

There are my two time slips from 1000' track and 1/4. Let me know what y'all think and if I'll hit 11's!

Yeah I had trouble getting good traction with these tires, either I need a wider/stickier tire or need adjustable suspension.

Yes, automatic. Like you I think high 11's are possible. It was almost 90 degrees with as much humidity

Suspension is killing me. My car will unload and I will spin. I'm lowered 1.7 inches and stiff as all get out. I'm
A manual so I have to drive myself into the 11's.

Gotta beef it up man. That's what I had to do to my 2000 GT. Maximum Motorsport full length subframes, caster/camber plates and a decent strut tower brace will help

Your right there, a few more times at the track learning your car and I think you'll dip into the 11's.

Eibach sportline springs, tokico hp shocks and struts, mm caster plates, & polyurethane bushings on stock control arms. Also on my 26x10.50-15 m/t et streets. I know it's not really setup for drag racing as you can tell.. it totally looks like I was shifting after the initial launch, but it was just rocking from the stiff suspension. Need Lakewood drag springs or qa1 shocks and struts and adjustable control arms more than anything to get the 60' down.

More of a generic suspension set up. Wouldn't really call it an autocross set up like you did before.

You need aftermarket control arms, upper and lower. Reinforce the torque boxes. Don't need adjustable lowers.

Yes I agree. But not anymore for a drag setup. I agree tho. I need to do that to get that 1.5 60 footsie.

Dude, ditch the "sag" lines and get a pro kit. You will see a SIGNIFICANT improvement!

Eibach sport line springs are known to be soggy and sag a bit. They are for a more slammed look. But the pro kit really stiffens up your launch. Drastically...

Full length subframes and some stiffer springs will knock off a tenth or two I bet...

I had the same problem with my car squatting/ unloading on starts, completely unprepped track, was debating between QA1s and Vikings, decided on the Vikings, way better on the launch now.

It's a shame how many people neglect suspension mods. It's the foundation of a good launch.

My 00GT only makes 302/306 to the pavement and I can beat Vortech GTs at the track because they just light em up down the track.
