I think it's a great looking car... Is it a mustang? Not necessarily, but it's a concept. I have no issues with ford modernizing the mustang. Look at the new edge vs the original 64, very little of any resemblance. Can't keep doing retro forever.
There's even talks about replacing the V6 with with a turbo charged direct injected 4 cylinder and bringing the base V8 down to a turbo direct injected V6 smh

I can deal with a new body style but not a non v8 powertrain. I don't think that'll happen anyways. But if it does you can't blame ford, blame the EPA and cafe

That's exactly what I said disassociating the mustang and the V8 engine is like separating sex and orgasms just doesn't make sense!
Ford is trying to keep the mustang alive, in order to do so they have to bring it to other markets .... In Europe cars have to b small and nimble so there is rumors of 2015 stangs weighing in under 3000 lbs.... The only way to keep stangs around when gas keeps going up is to make drastic changes .... I'm ok w whatever they decide to do as long as it stays a two door and its got performance at heart and is still affordable
Other rumors:
V6 - going to four cylinder turbo (echo boost)
Gt- v6 turbo (echo boost
Shelby - undecided 5.4l s/c 5.8 turbo or ch
And a few other specialty models such as 5.0 w all wheel drive
I learned all of this while at Shelby house in Vegas

How is the GT affordable now? Haha they want 38-40k for I Nice one
All of this is crazy rumors. Ford sees the current pony car war as a battle it cannot afford to lose. They are not going to take their flagship car and bastardize it like they did in 1974. Ford's collective rears are still stinging from the flogging they got back then.
The magazines are putting out that propaganda to help sell Camaros, plain and simple.
I spoke to a Ford headquarters rep at the Fabulous Fords Show at Knott's Berry Farm last weekend. Standing there among 2000 Mustangs, he assured me that the new Mustang would be worthy of the name, and it would always be an enthusiast's vehicle. He also said that Ford spent way too much money on the Coyote engine to just kill it after 4 years.

Camaro took mustangs ideas to make the new Camaro.
Not a big fan of Chevy till it comes to a corvette.
But ford knows what it's customers want and I believe they will do fine
