Smart ass
I'm thinking they go back to Cobra and Shelby becomes a third party option like Saleen or Rousch. Maybe it'll be a SC 5.0, but the 5.8 is badass. It would a shame to dump it.

With my current position, I could afford a GT as a dd, but I have no use for the power. 305 hp gets me to the speed limit fast enough. I won't be in the market for one [GT500] for another decade or so. Then it is either the next gen GT(40/44/2020), or a used Ferrari FF. Unless the equivelant GT500 then is a beast, again.

I really hope they don't do away with it. I often see Ford not refer to the GT500 as a Mustang, but as its own vehicle. Maybe that is why the 2.0 is the only "Mustang" to make it. Like the FT86, people will buy it no matter what. Make a decent product, then when the newness wears off, make it better. If they made the most beautiful car ever with 500 hp that gets 80 mpg and runs off of water and never brokedown, then they can't make it much better next year or redesign in five :/

I do. But it will come with a cost, it's going to be a bit more money.

It should be an option like a drag pack or Brembo. They could have connection points on the frame for either system. Use the solid as standard and upcharge for the IRS. Mustang is more of a 1/4 mile car anyway. If you want track order the IRS. You hear a lot of good IRS stuff, but a lot of nightmares as well as costs when upgrading.

I agree with the idea but I would say opposite. IRS standard, SRA option in a drag pack. Out of everyone who buys a Mustang, how many of those people drag their cars? Small percentage would be my guess. Having a more "comfortable" ride would be more important to most. The SRA is probably the most complained about part of the Mustang. Not for the drag racers but just about everyone else.

Im not to worried about it its only a concept. When I saw a the prototype rendering of the 13 Stang it it kinda looked like this one. Then it came out and it only had certain aspects of the prototype.
