New Shelby spotted in the wild

EXCLUSIVE: This is the 2015 Shelby GT

"Any Mustang GT V8 can be converted into a Shelby GT or Shelby GT/SC - See more at: http://www.shelbyamerican.com/2014sgt.asp#sthash.xx4J9sit.dpuf"

Looks pretty nice. Wonder if this is what the new Shelby GT500's will look like ?

GT350:

vs

GT500 ???? with more room under hood for supercharger, and 4 heat extractors on the hood!

That photo is a GT with a few GT500 parts if I'm not mistaken.

The GT500 looks better but not a fan of the 15 Mustangs at all. The 07 to 09 GT500 still looks the best imo.

You guys need to get it together. The white Mustang is a demonstrator from Ford of a Shelby GT350 that Ford will build. The red model is a prototype of what Shelby American will offer for a conversion to any Mustang that you send them. While there are certain styling components that look like previous years, no parts are interchangeable with the S197 models. At this time no one has announced plans for a GT500.

I didn't say it was a GT500... I was saying this might be what a GT500 looks like since it will need more room under the hood for a supercharger, and since this is from Shelby... yes a styling package with optional supercharger added too... but thought it might have some of the same design cues as a new GT500. Figured at least the hood might be the same, for the actual GT500 whenever they make one, it will probably get a different bumper more like the GT350's.

The hood won't look that....well, cheap is the best way to put. No design to it, just a big bump in the hood. Doesn't look good at all to me. The GT350 looks far better.

The GT500 has a hood style that is identified with that model. It is one of the main distinction between the GT350 and the GT500. Neither Ford nor Shelby American would dare deviate much from that look. It is normally a wide ram air type, or in the case of the 2010-2013, an extractor hood design to mimic the ram air look as much as possible. The hood shown on the red GT is similar to the hood on the old Shelby GTS. This was mostly used on V6 Mustangs.
