Eh... not so much around here at least not with a nice end of run LS1. Now if its an older LT1 or Iroc... yeah... And Van Halen blasting with the treble turned all the way up on a stock radio, Skoal tins all over the place etc...

I had two f bodies, and i would wear a mullet just because..

Also Ford has been in the game, not just the mustang, but drifting, rally cars, etc... There is a lot more than to just raw hp... lol

The new 5.0's definitely put a ls1 to the test, but those little push rod motors got some good hp and are easy as hell to mod lol

Hell the wife's v6 has quite a bit of power, and is damn close to being a 13 second car.

The LS1 is still ridiculous to this day. Honestly its probably a better option to swap into a Mustang than a Coyote, you just have to deal with ppl who freak out about that sort of thing.

Even the old LT4, every time I go for a ride in my dad's 96 Vette (built in 1995) it moves the hell out for what it is. That is a 20 year old car...

This bad boy, that engine was wicked, even by today's standards.

Best driving car I've driven to date. I should've bought it when I had the chance. Then again I wouldn't be on this forum if you get my meaning.

Eh... I'd take a basic LS1 C5 over that. Jelly bean styling and all. Or a 96 with a LT4 like my father has. Maybe I'll inherit it one day lol. That's ****ed up actually. He is probably going to sell it in a few years.

Z-28 price cuts... https://www.yahoo.com/autos/s/chevro...120011245.html

Means Ford is about to announce GT350 pricing, and its going to be cheaper than Z-28, hence the rush to hurry up & sell some before June 1st. (The date I believe Ford will officially release the prices.)

The GT350R should be approx $66,500, which will undercut the Z/28's price and out perform it on paper (505hp vs 520hp) & in real life (track times).

I would like a naturally aspired V8 with a little more horsepower, a lot more torque and a reasonable price. I can't afford a GT-350 or 500 but would pay a little more for for a more powerful engine in the standard GT. Ford, remember the old days when you could get a 289, a 351 or a 427 Mustang. Give me a 450hp 5.2 liter with around 425-fp of torque in the standard GT and I will pay more for that option.

Buy at GT350 with out the Track Pack or Tech Pack. MSRP $49,995.

They're rare, but out there:
Ford Mustang GT350 | eBay

And in a couple of months when the dust settles dealerships will start taking special orders for reasonable prices, so you could special order just that. A Mustang "GT"... 350 with 520hp NA.
