Pre 2005 V6: Corner Carving Thread
This is a thread that i've decided to make to help explain how to set up our cars for the twisties...this will be built over the next few days as a whole, but i think it'll really help the section.
As we all know our sixxers aren't power plants without a good amount of cash dropped into them. However our cars do make fun auto-x and road course cars...with a bit of work and planning your car will be able to compete with much more powerful cars even at your stock power level.
Now with any type of building there's the budget builds which i will cover in detail (as best of my ability), and there are the top of the line builds. Which of course cost quite a bit more but the gain can be huge when pushing the car to the max.

Now before we get to in depth of parts and what they do lets talk about the basic idea of carving a corner and what you really want out of it.
if you're on the street then throw mods at it and practice...however if you want to compete in actual competitions then remember that different mods will change the classes you get put into...so plan ahead. in fact if you want to compete then id say go stock a few times (even a CAI can knock you out of that class)...get use to how the car handles in it
