Sct device

So does anyone have trouble connecting there sct handheld device to their computer? My computer detects the device but does not come up in the programs, I try to datalog my car but can't because the software fails to communicate with the handheld device. Any ideas ?

I installed the driver for my PC from the CD and had no luck. I had to get the latest driver from the SCT web site. This was a few years ago and I don't remember any more detail than that.

Yes! Call SCT. There is a bad .dll file that loads. This drove me crazy for months. Tried three different laptops and same result. I called them and they remoted into my laptop and had it going in minutes! Just make sure you have the tuner connected to the laptop when you call them.

I just got update 2.9.8.92 and mine is working fine, but I haven't used datalog or a custom tune yet.
