Remote wire

installed aftermarket subs to the stock head Unit. Question, which fuse should I tap the remote wire to? Or should I run it some other way?

yo your remote wire doesnt need a fuse. the remote wire is only there to tell your amp if the system is on or off, so your amp doesnt stay on when your car is off.

Yea but with the stock head unit I don't have a remote wire lead from it. So if I can find a non constant 12v source It should new fine. Where would you suggest?

I've installed a 10inch kicker With a built in amp. And wired the remote wire to the blue wire connected to the antenna. Click image for larger version

just wire your own wire straight to the battery with a switch on it..i put my switch in the glove box, easiest way on there cus the fuses are so small you could bend one of the inside tiny metal parts so the fuse becomes loose
