Fog light wiring for 2005 mustang

Hey everyone I'm new to wiring but I bought the raxiom fog light wiring harness from American muscle and I just wanted to know if you can use this harness to wire fog lights without buying the oem /headlight/foglight switch, and just wiring them to the switch that I have now

Hey - Welcome to MustangEvolution. That's a good question and theoretically it could be possible but it's something that I wouldn't suggest doing unless you're really mechanically/electrically inclined. I've shocked myself enough that I wont even attempt to install a head unit in a car anymore. I would really suggest purchasing the switch before splicing wires together!

You're very welcome. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions and thanks for your support and business! Make sure to check out the Installation Guide for the Switch as well, it should only take about 45 to an hour. Hope this helps.

Foglights will not turn on

Hey I just installed the raxiom foglight harness And the fog lights turned on a few times then I turned them off and then I drove about 15 minutes and tried to turn them on in my garage and they won't turn on anymore.

If they work the same as a GT fogs, the ignition key has to be on for them to work. If that's not it, I had a similar problem with the raxiom Halo kit. My halos didn't come on after a month of driving the car. I used the plastic quick splice clips to wire them up and after a month of driving, stopped working(halo part). The quick splice clips sometimes don't make the best connections. When I took it apart to check things out ,they looked fine, but when I moved the wires, they would come on and off. I had to re-connect everything and solder them all. ( no clips)
