I am installed a zex wet nitrous
system in my 2008 mustang
gt. I have a remote bottle opener, purge kit, blow down tube, and bottle pressure gauge. I am trying to install a MSD Digital Window Switch to control the rpm window on when the nitrous can be activated. I figured most of it out but I have a few concerns. . . .
From my understandings I will be using the yellow wire from the window switch to ground the zex nitrous management unit (NMU), but people say the window switch cannot handle the current from the NMU and it will fry the switch and that I need to buy a relay to wire into the grounding system. I also heard that it is possible to connect the yellow wire from the relay switch to the nitrous arming switch and that will work the same way (starting and stopping the nitrous at certain rpms). I tried to contact MSD But they're only open on the weekdays, and for some reason I cannot find the search feature on this forum on my phone.
Bonus question, is the grey wire with the white stripe on the throttle position sensor the wire that sends the signal to when the throttle is wide open?
Thanks for the help!
