People just want to complain. It's a new model. Anyone see the first chrysler challenger? Anyone see a 2015?

A whole lot of growth...there is a reason these cars were around before, and died. They didn't change or grow.

Maybe they would prefer that the Mustang died after their model year. Or maybe they've just never been to a new car dealership. Literally, EVERY manufacturer does this.

*sigh*

No, the liberals have control of the fuel tax after they get elected and they raise it. I hate republicans, don't get me wrong, but liberals are way wayyy worse at taking money from the people than republicans are. Ill never vote for either of them.

Fine. You guys are right. Ford should make their mustang look like a focus and also have a 4 cylinder engine. Are you all happy now? you mustang enthusiasts? While were at it lets have fwd, only offer it in automatic, make it a flexfuel hybrid, add rear doors, and discontinue the v8. I love progress!!

Lol yes, liberals suck too. It makes you wonder where they come up with the stuff they decide is a "taxable" thing.

I hope they computerize everything as much as possible too and shrink the engine bay. it would be a shame if I could work on it in my garage

According to this thread the Mustang should never change it's looks. Look the same forever....

What about the fox or the sn95s? Do this really look like a "mustang"? Not according to everything being said here, but they are still some of the most iconic mustangs made.

I don't want to burst your bubble. You better not search 2014 BMW front end m3 coupe, 3 coupe, 2, or 4.

Spoiler alert...here they are.

I don't think any of those are BMWs, though. They don't look ANYTHING like a BMW...eye roll.

The flexfuel would actually be a good performance bonus. You seen what E85 does? It's d*mn cheap race gas.

I agree totally. Sure, it's normal to have favorites, but they are so many sweet models to choose from over the past 5 decades. I think that's one of the reasons the Mustang has lasted so long.

Love that car. I keep it around in case I need engine parts for my other 4.6 car. Plus I like boating down the interstate every now and then. It was my only car up until I got my GT a month ago

So the econobox argument failed...pretty funny on that one...now the "those aren't coupes though" argument (even though one was a coupe...) Has been done. I wonder what the next one will be lol.

I wish I had the energy to just post every brand that does this. But some 50+ brands, images of all their cars, that's a lot of work.

All the new cars suck. The brands are turning soft. That's what we're worried about and you just proved it. Im embarrassed for BMW about their 2 series and I don't even like the brand..

Big oil companies are owned by a diverse group of people who are either direct shareholders or have money invested via mutual funds, pensions, etc.

We almost got the Ford Probe as the replacement for the Fox in the late 80's.

Yeah I know we did. That's the kind of stuff we have to be careful of! They tried it once and you KNOW they are going to try it again. We cant just let them pussify these cars and not get mad.

Nobody stood for it then and surely nobody would stand for it now... Cuz we have the internet!
This is different though. Ford isn't doing anything to the Mustang that they haven't done in the past 50 years. Hell the 64 was just a new body sitting on top of the 63 Falcon chassis.
Lol
The Falcon was an old granny car used to drive to church on Sunday!

Even with some missteps along the way (PintoStang), the Mustang has come a long ways in fifty years.

I started driving a lot and I was wow, If I am going to be in a car for 3 hours a day like this, it better not be a car that I HATE. AMerican V8s ever since. I need a reliable car that is also fun. Otherwise it just doesn't work for me and I get pissy

I disagree on only making V8 Stangs. When I was 19 I couldn't afford a brand new GT so I started with a V6 then went into a GT. Most kids that don't have rich parents aren't buying 35 thousand dollar cars

I don't know many 19 year olds who have brand new cars in the first place.
You see, the V8s would cost less on the used market if there were more of them. THe V8s would also cost less BRAND NEW if they sold the same amount of stangs but all were v8s.

Ehh, college isn't exactly boring by any means, if you go to a school like mine. It is kind of a party school you could say. the school was ranked 2nd in the nation for alcohol related arrest lol.

All of my money went to motocross when I was in highschool and fresh out. My tax return statement said I made about $18,000 my senior year of high school and all I had to show for it was a worn out dirtbike that used to be new, a broken vertebrae, a brain bleed, a broken wrist, and a reconstructed foot and ankle. Motocross is a terrible investment lol
