Yeah motocross is the most fun that I have ever had. That's why I kept going back. Its also the most pain I have ever had! lol. As they say, with age comes a cage.

Now I just want to build stuff and do a little bit of racing just to test it out. I have no desire to go back to moto racing. Or so I tell myself.

Been racing motocross since I was 7 started riding when I was 6 with a pw80, then started racing the following year on a kx60. Then went to yz85, then to a yz125, then to 250f, then we swapped to Honda. In 08

I'm 25 now, concussions. 3 of them, broken ribs, colar bone, top 2 vertebrae of my spine twisted, skull fractures, blood clot in my head at one time from the skull fracture.

Going back to Yamaha now, been off the bike for about a 2 years due to work.

Motocross # tattooed across my back ( shoulder blades ) with fox head in the middle.

Damn sounds like you've got some seat time! I always rode Ys250s. 2 strokers babay! lol What was the fastest class u raced? I was top 5 in 250B when I sold my bike. Was supposed to be able to hang in A the end of this past season but I didn't race once.

If it weren't for my aboundant and very severe head injuries, and the possibility of becoming paralyzed, I would never quit racing.

I can tough out a broken arm or some arthritis, but I will be so pissed if I have to deal with a wheelchair forever. F-THat. Ill take my macho cars and get into wrenching on them. Most chicks dig mustangs more than motocross anyway for some reason even the moto is more bad *** to me.

Yeah that's the same system they used in my AMA district 16. I was in intermediate. We didn't have beginner tho. Beginner and novice were combined and it was a **** show.

Beginner= D Class
Novice = C class
Intermediate B class
Local pro= A class

Did you pay with cash or just not need a cosigner? No way in hell my parents would cosign anything for me ever. They wouldn't even cosign so I could get a bigger student loan.
Their logic is pretty much, "if you actually were good for the money, you wouldn't NEED a cosigner"

In 4-5 years you will thank your parents for not letting you take out more student loans.

Yeah I know I will. I Will have too much money going into cars to spend on student loans. Besides, Im going to a tech school now and will have a whopping $3k in debt from school. My entire degree costs $10k and I already have $7k in cash. I signed the account over to my dad and told him not to let me withdraw for anything other than tuition.
But any other money that comes within a mile of me is getting blown on cars. Keeps off hard drugs. I still toke some ganja when I cant sleep though.

My mom cosigned for me and I traded my 03 gt in on it. So I ended up financing $19,000

I wish all cops would have done that. Oil Industry > Politician's henchmen. enough said.

Im pretty much a small-government kind of guy. I like going about my business without intrusion and I don't want to control anybody else. The modern police force does not fit into that very well into that idea at all.

Well I just left the ford dealership and I have to say that wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. I had it in my head that I wanted the new 2015 but was a little under whelmed by it. The interior is a nice up grade but a lot of it looks like my 2014 Ford Taurus so I decided to keep my 2012 premium mustang for now. The outside of the car kinda reminds me of the Taurus or fusion guess I'll look at them again in 2016.

Oilfield probably pays a metric ****ton at least in relation to the median starting salaries for college grads these days. I keep telling ppl there is a HUGE shortage of skilled technical/labor positions in the USA that can't be outsourced to India and also don't require some $100k piece of paper that'll put you in debt for 20 years. Obviously you need to attend technical school/training/OJT but its not nearly the $$$ that a now borderline criminal (IMO) education industry is charging.

That whole "work smarter not harder" BS that got pushed decades ago to get more ppl to go to college, that is crap. How about "work smarter AND harder" and actually contribute? If that sounds familiar to anyone, you are also probably following Mike Rowe on Facebook and he's completely 100% right.

Yeah its true there are a lot of good jobs that you can get without a 4 year degree. Im going to school at a tech school to get a civil engineering technician degree. Pays decent starting, not a LOT, but the idea is to get in with a good company and work your way up.

My dad got a tech degree like 10 years ago as a computer programmer and worked his way up in the company, he says he doesn't even do much at work and gets paid $100,000 a year managing the wing. He will be able to do that for the rest of his life, live wherever he wants to, and isn't going to get hurt. Yeah I could go out to an oil field and make metric **** tons of cash right now, but I would have to go live at a job site thousands of miles away, and then after that boom town goes down, I become disabled/old, or just want to go somewhere else, Im out of a job and don't have the resume to go get another job like it.

That's awesome. There's so many ways to make $$ if u push yourself to excel. I honestly got lucky. Dropped out of school. Never stepped a foot in high school.Stumbled into the auto industry as a car washer at a body shop. I worked my way to the top and learned the collision industry from start to finish. I average 80k a year. That's how I bought my 1st brand new V6 Stang at 19 years old.

That's good. I question everything that comes from the government. Its not good to blindly trust that they will hold themselves accountable when they have that much power. #AuditTheFed #LegalizeIt

Hahaha that is exactly how I feel some (all) days. I hate it how I have to be constantly worried about cops with every single decision that is presented to me. I don't even do anything wrong and I still always am paranoid whenever I see a cop. Isn't the idea to have them there to make me be/feel safer? The government is so messed up you never know WHAT will get you in trouble these days. And cops can do whatever the hell they want to you and wont be held accountable.

Most of the people I know that have a criminology degree don't have a job that is even remotely in that field. In fact, all of them wished they hadn't gone that route lol. I think if your not going to be a cop, it's a bit of a waste. That's what they say anyways.

Why don't peeps go to school to be scientist, engineers and that kinda thing these days? They'll have to ship in dudes from China to do this work. C'mon you young'ins lol.
