Yes Kona it's a FuTaurstang / Asian Stang and I read today it may be heavier than the S197 WTF??? due to new safety regulations and IRS which adds weight.

I'd like to see the source as well. Ford has claimed it will be at least 200lbs lighter since nearly day 1, so I find this very hard to believe. Especially with the clearly reduced body size. Unless the entire car is required to be plated in 1/4 inch titanium armor, I don't see how safety equipment will add 200+ lbs.

Estimated Hp gain is said to be 20 and 10 lb-ft , not very impressive gain I would say.
And with it being heavier it is unlikely to be quicker.

Edmunds "guessed" that it may be heavier. And that article is from last December when the mustang debuted. I have my doubts that it'll be heavier. Getting rid of the live rear should cut down on a good bit of weight on its own.

I still have not seen one in person, but from the photos I don't really like it compared to the 13-14 ones. IMO the 13-14 GTs are the best looking stangs I have ever seen.

13/14 > V6 / GT have the same skin and yes they are by far the best looking

Lot of hating going on here....I get it, am not a huge fan of the front end myself. Seriously though check out this thread and tell me those don't make the car look a ton better.

I think most mustangs look decent in stock form. Its when aftermarket parts hit the market that the cars turn into real great looking cars. Aftermarket parts can completely change the look of a mustang. I'm excited to see what will come from the 2015 aftermarket parts pool.

Having seen all these photos of the 2015 and then seeing the car in person, I'd say its safe to say that it looks better in person and doesn't photograph very well.
