reports that the 2015 Mustang
GT will be the first to feature both Track Apps and Launch Control as standard equipment, while the 2015 EcoBoost Mustang will come with Track Apps. No love for the V6 yet, though.
Based on what was available on the BOSS 302, Track Apps is expected to feature a drag strip “Christmas tree” graphic to help measure time and trap speeds of 1/8th and 1/4 mile virtual track lengths. It should also measure 0-60 and 0-100 times, as well as braking distances. There should also be a "G meter" that shows force created during hard acceleration, braking and cornering.
Launch Control allows you to pick a preprogrammed launch RPM.
