Yeah but not fast as one setup for one or the other.

Im sure Ford will respond with a higher HP GT500 since it seems to be a HP pissing match among the auto companies.. Honestly you cant go wrong with either. Maybe I should have replaced "killer" with "1 up".

Nothing however compares to the Super-snake mustang (for a mere 40k extra) still. I would take that over any muscle car produced today. I had the honor/luck to drive one for a 2 mile stretch. Its absolute scary HP! I modeled the look of my GT after the all mighty snake.

"KOREAN GT" that about sums it up! If Ford wants to give it that cookie cutter 2015 appearance going forward, then you'll see a nice jump in Dodge muscle car sales. Mark my words, Dodge has outdone Ford in a big way in the 2015 line.

The most prized mustangs range from the early 60's to early 70s - square front, hard lines - unique design. You sure as hell wont find too many people restoring an 80s-90s mustang with that awful body style! The 2015 reminds me of the early 90s mustang thought process.

Im quite happy with my 2013-14 GT body style, end of an era it seems.

I think the real money here is on the current 2014 GT.

Truecar is at $25,500 for a base model GT.
The new one will be $32,500 with no discounts.

And we're not even getting into the funky styling, lame retro interior (to me it looks like the confusing "retro" fail that the Camaro's interior is famous for), softening of all of the edges and the IRS. I bet it drives exactly like a CTS-V or a 5 series.

Cheap car + simple design + big engine = America. Muscle car.
Expensive car + refined design + turbo engine = Europe. Sports car.

What I love about my car is the fact that it's unrefined and crude in all the right paces. It's a very polished and modern design, but the driving experience gives you just enough feedback and the simplicity of muscle car to make it feel like one. Without actually being something that wants to take your head off.

I bet you the new one will feel like a G37 or 5 series. The press will love it. Europe will love it. The rest of us in the U.S. will gobble up every last 2014 with manual that we can find.

Basically it's the 70s all over again. The best of that era were the 71-73 Mach 1s. Nobody wanted the ones that came after. And I suspect it'll be the same now. The 11-14 GTs will be the classics in our old age years from now.

Here is a four door Mustang... lol. JK, but look at the design cues and front end. 2015 does look more like a "world" car. There is also a couple on road pics I captured on Aligator Alley on way to Miami. Now have seen 3 coupes and a vert on the road. Definitely prefer the S197 style way better.
