One day you'll learn

Its the Consumer market that makes Mustangs Fast
from upping the ante because the competitive manufactures compete for your dollar

NOT loyal Die Hard Stang fans that as long as it has a horse on it
and a racing stripe, that's sufficient enough

Competing Manufacturers do a car GOOD ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~~

Great, another pig dodge with a big engine that can't turn. I have the 60k and wouldn't even consider this car. If I was shopping for a new car that is...

...guess you've never driven an SRT car, lol. I'm not saying they're amazing, but they are way better than people think they are. There may be no getting past the weight, but they have become quite efficient at maneuvering it about.

Lol, the wrong forum because I'm not a blind fanboy and I can appreciate cars made by someone other than good-ol' Ford? That being said, I enjoy my Mustang quite a bit, so I think I'll stay a while, thanks.

I owned the dodge charger and it was Maintanence nightmare. Never had much trouble with my past 3 mustangs hence why I own a mustang again.

Noodles, what trim level did you own? I had a 5.7 that had minor sunroof issues but other than that zero problems whatsoever. I was actually very pleased with the reliability, just not so pleased with the performance.

My friend has owned a few mopar products. Other than the looks in think they a lot to be desired. He had reliability issues with his SRT. I appreciate any nice make or model. He has a 911 now which I love

Horsepower alone doesn't make a car appealing. At least not for me. My car is pretty much stock. 420 BHP and 390 TQ is perfectly fine for me. I don't race or need bragging rights. I love the looks, feel, and interior and comfort of my Mustang. I dislike all Dodge looks. To me the interior is not what I personally care for in cars or trucks. If that's your bowl of cereal then by all means go buy one. A lot of cars can whip mine but I wouldnt trade it for the world.

I have absolutely no idea how that relates to the topic but if someone was stupid enough to give me $50,000 for my car I'd take the cash and off I'd go for another one. I wouldn't buy a Shelby or any other insane HP machine. I'd have a nice chunk of change for the savings account.

2007 R/T. Got it with 9k miles and it ate through ball joints and rotors and would mysteriously eat coolant. I was never rough on the vehicle so it drove me nuts having to replace ball joints when they should last 50k to 100k and mine could only make 15k. It wasn't just me either. In 09 there were so many chargers in need of joints they were back ordered and many police agencies couldn't even get them.

And like someone else said I am completely content with the HP my mustang has. Just slapped a axle back on and the rest will be shifter parts and appearance.

Is it me or does this car seem kinda slow for the horsepower numbers don't get me wrong 10.8 is flying. But there was a guy on the American Muscle YouTube page running 10.6s? On an all motor 5.0?! No spray no charger? He was making 445whp? I don't know maybe it's me haha. Cool car anyways.

A pig that looks better than and is faster than 99.9% of road vehicles, and can haul your wife, kids, and groceries comfortably.

That's really far fetched. I know of about 15 Cars off hand, that will destroy it that are " road vehicles"

Alright, we'll go with 99.5%. For every 1,000 cars you see, 5 are faster. I'd say that's pretty accurate. I'm not saying faster than 99.5% of makes and models, but 99.5% of what is actually out there on the road. So for every GT-R or ZR1 there are 60,000 camrys and F150s.

Eeehhhh looks better is debatable too each his own on that which is why I own what I own, fast than mine sure ,cost more too! However I just don't believe you can beat on a charger or challenger as hard as you can a mustang but that's my opinion also. I don't like dodge or Chevy never have and certainly wouldn't spend my hard earned mony on it since my tax dollars went to help bail them out!

1 thing is for sure, the challengers are alot safer than a mustang.
My 18 year sister flipped her challenger 5 times, (someone pulled out in front of her and she clipped there bumper ) and she walked away without a scratch.

Definitely agree that they can't take the abuse like a mustang can. I put over 80k miles on my 02 GT. Which included wailing on it more then I should've with no more than regular maintenance.
