The 15 is out of the corral

Only way to compare cars is stock for stock and same mods. Unless we wanna act like we're on pinks and we start giving each other car lengths... You can throw money at anything and make it faster. Let's not get a all technical about what you could afford at the time plus what you can add on. Later.

5.0 is still the better vehicle. And if people really want to compare let's see who's car is worth more after 10 years the v6 that's been modded to be as fast as a 5.0 or the bone stock 5.0.

and throw the same technology at the 5.0 as the ecoboost. Are you saying the turbo 4 or 6 will beat the 5.0 with a turbo?

Also I have owned a v6 mustang, I am not talking down about it. My 1995 v6 was probably one of my favorite cars.

The GT ought to be a better vehicle than the V6 stock for stock. It costs 8 grand more. No one is disagreeing on that.

+1 I'd see them on the road a lot in Michigan and the pictures don't do them justice. It will grow on people when they start seeing them on the road.

People said worse things about the new body style in '94. They'll get over it lol.

I'm sure majority of people will get over its hideous rear end and tail lights. It will just take some time to getting used too. From the look of the Motor Trend reviews it seemed most disappointing.

You know what really gets to me is the outright pandering and grovelling over it by the automotive press.

- The looks are really a lot more love it or hate it than the 13/14s. For me, it's a fail.

- More weight. Add a passenger and a full tank of gas and you're looking at 4K actually rolling down the road.

- Softer ride and less muscle car DNA. Part of what makes a car like this fun is that despite the electronics and technology, it still conveys enough of that edge, rawness, and bits of wanting to act like it'll get out of control to be fun. Remove that and you're driving a G37 or 3 series.

- More money. Basically you have a no options rental car V6, the much more expensive but not a huge amount better turbo 4, and the V8.

It just feels like a small evolution aside from the cosmetics. There's nothing groundbreaking going on and I think we'll have to wait until the next models are out to see that.

Too bad that IRS can't ground break a good looking a$$ end into that car along with the non corporate front fasica. Ha ha ha ha ha. The far majority of consumers won't have a clue about IRS or even tell the difference. Majority of people drive on straight highways or sit in bumper to bumper traffic while on their way or home from work.

He's being sarcastic. Also the 99-04 IRS can be made to be pretty damn good. Requires a $700hp bushing kit and a lot of 4 letter words to change them out, even with the special pull/install tools.
