4 new 2015 at my dealer

the dealer by my house and work has 4. one V6, two Ecoboost and one GT 50th aniversary package in Comp orange. Might have to drive by tomorrow for lunch. NOT getting. Finally on my way to making my 2013 way I want it. Not a hige fan of 2015, little too Euro looking but going to go see. Have seen a few in person on road but not up close so want to do that and get pictures. Ford runs test cars here near me in Naples (lots of automakers do actually) and run them on aligator alley. About once every few months I see a proto car disguised lol. you know that digital camo look they try to hide under. Post pics if go tomorrow.

The store rooms lights make it look kind of weirdly colored

I hate the back end. It looks... well, like an Infiniti.

Still going to take time for me to get used to the look, doesn't have the same wow factor for me when they first introduced the 05s and the redesigned 10s and 13s. The headlights still look ugly, but waiting to see how people will improve their 15s appearance with aftermarket parts.

They are still growing on me. I don't love them or completely like them enough yet; one thing I really like though is the interior. Like kanine, I'll be waiting to see how ppl improve the appearance. Honestly if they put a rear spoiler I think it will just look ugly af, I just can't picture the '15 with one.

Couldnt agree more. I am a spoiler guy but I think these are probably going to be better without. I did like the interior though. Actually quite a bit. While that is what I see while driving i will take my interior with my exterior as opposed to the 15... now... who is going to test a 15 interior slapped into a 13-14?? LOL, I would love to see what best of both.

New model has started growing on me but still not a huge impact to make me own one right away. I would prefer a 2011+ GT500 instead.

Usually the first year of the new redesigned models barely get any big increase in performance from previous models. Remember what they are selling here is the "new look". Wait 3 or 4 years and they will most likely increase performance numbers in order to sell same model with some styling changes. Then ford will have my attention.

Wife and I saw two new 2015's at my dealer today. Sorry but neither of us cared for it. Looks like a fusion from the front and the back end looked cheap. Interior was nice. I'll keep my '14 GT convertible.

The more I keep seeing this new model the more it keeps re-enforcing my same opinion of it. That rear end really hurts my eyeballs and god awful. Knowing how fast the 5.0's are and the 4 turbo can be I'll have the unpleasure of staring at a lot of their taillights. Lol. I've seen more muscle in an Olive Garden Pasta dish than this new model.

Also, the interior is just to busy for my style. Too many knobs sticking out. I prefer a more clean look around the radio area.

I can't believe how much crap is on the steering wheel. The center console is a little too busy also. The whole point of touch screens and message pods is to eliminate the need for 62 buttons. They seem to have settled on both. Sometimes when you try to please everyone, you please no one.

Now I'm confused, I thought the 50th anniversary additions were only going to come in white or Kona, or are those special special additions, LOL?

Slightly different arrangement but same amount of functions and buttons. (4 for cruise, 5 for gauge control, 4 for sync and 4 for entertainment sys). You can see the wiper and turn signal levers behind the wheel which may be confusing you.

I understand it's the same number. But now it's spread out all over the place. It's like a big button calculator for old people.

Funny you mention about that big nice touch screen they have. I was thinking the same thing. If you have this nice sized touch screen why the F do you need all those control knobs sticking out all over the place. I bet majority of that ***** all over could of been gotten rid of because of the touch screen or at least give it a more flat flowing look to it. You got ***** all over the place poking and sticking out. Lmao

Its got more knobs poking out than a 65 year old on Viagra.

When touch screens first came out they got rid of all the Manual controls and the cars got horrible reviews because a touch screen is much harder to use while still keeping your eyes on the road. Where as with buttons and dials you can feel them without actually looking at them. So that's probable why ford has both. Idk about the mustang but my parents have a escape and it actually disables the majority of the touchscreen features if the car is driving.

Not all cars have the touch screens so they still need the knobs. I bet that less than 25% of all Mustangs will come with touch screens. As ol' Will said, Me thinks the lady doth protest too much.

I had to run to my dealer at lunch and buy a new battery for my V6. While there I noticed they had four '15s out front. Two black GTs, an orange 3.7 and a black Eco. The GTs had "GT" on the back, the 3.7 had the pony/tri-bar and the Eco had a faux gas cap with 50th Anniversary Edition marked on it. That was a total surprise. Now I have no idea what's going on.

So for automatics, they leave the clutch pedal since not all cars will be automatic.

I've been driving for almost fifty years and have yet to see an automatic with a clutch pedal. Is there a reason they should start that now? Oh, I see, you were doing a funny, oh, I see...

Do you actually think that Ford just does these things to annoy people on the Mustang forum? They do this stuff due to popular demand. That is what kept the Mustang alive back in the 80s when they wanted to replace it with the Probe. There are actually people who want the knobs, touch screens and whatever. It's interesting as there is another thread on ME right now touting just how great the 2015 is.

Hey, if you and other consumers want knobs sticking out everywhere, that's cool. We got knobs baby. Line the whole interior with them I say. Lol! No problem here hause! For me its just not pleasing to my visual senses and really a bit of an eyesore but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If the world wants knobs sticking out, Ford delivered with perfection. Mission accomplished along with its great performance aspects.

Ford did the Probe thing on their own as some stroke of genius from corporate. And yes when people freaked out and got pissed off, they kept the mustang around.

But I think you're missing the point. The technology of touch screen gives you the ability to get tons of information with 100 knobs and buttons. Base models have buttons, but when you add the screens, they replace the buttons. That's all anyone is trying to point out. It doesn't mean they hate the whole car.

It's funny that the people who seem to like everything about the 15 have no tolerance for anyone criticizing the car. I love mustangs, always have. I just want each new design to be badass, fast and beat the crap out of Camaros, challengers, charges, etc.

But I think you're missing the point. The technology of touch screen gives you the ability to get tons of information with 100 knobs and buttons. Totally agree bro. People on these forums who love the 15 really get upset about people being less enthused about it. The only thing I really like about the 15's is there color choices. That comp orange has me popping a little chubby.

Lmao, But its the Boss C stripe bro. How can the boss C stripe be gay a$$? I'm sure the Boss owners would have too disagree with your assessment of their stripping.
