Looks like they are really selling... Here where I live, there's been 4 (that I know of) that have been sold just hours of them getting to the dealership. 1 ecoboost and the rest GTs. Just today I ran into the eco.

Great that there selling well. Perhaps the minority of customers the true mustang enthusist and or brand loyoty are purchasing them up right now. Let's see how well it sells to the majority of consumers who aren't a mustang enthusiast or brand loyal consumer. Just someone who likes a performance vehicle but not gonna mod the car.

The average consumer who are not on the mustang forums and don't care about boosting the car to 4,000 HP because the engine block is strong enough.

I'm glad they are selling but unfortunately I just can't warm up to how it looks. Man, I want to love the 2015 and awesome that it handles amazing. I know many people really are digging the interior. Its a little to busy for my style. I prefer a nice clean look like my 2011 has around the stereo area and climate controls and steering wheel. The 2015 just has too many knobs that are sticking up and too busy with stuff all over the place for my style, however its all good and hope Ford sells record sales with this new model year or at least near record sales.

I love technology and am totally for it but i prefer a nice clean flowing interior with all the tech stuff without the buttons and knobs sticking out and looking like a hot mess.

I think the jury is still out on how well they are selling. Dealers are getting 2-4 cars and selling them, not surprising with a completely new design. We'll know more about sales in a few months.
The exterior is growing on me. I like the improvements to handling, but the weight gain and minuscule HP gain for 5.0 is disappointing. Performance should have been a higher priority.

I like that everything is based on ones touch, rather than being touch based.

If that isn't clear- most new Ford's have their controls based on touch. Your finger makes contact and the electricity makes the change. This forces one to look, and have their finger above the control before making contact.

Vs based on ones touch- one can feel the control by touch, and then adjust.

So I am driving down the road, and want to turn on the air. I know by touch, I can take my right hand off the gear handle, move it forward, I feel the knob, turn it to low, and I know where the on switch is, I activate my air.

If I was in my families MKZ, or my friends Explorer, I would be screwing with stuff wondering where TF my controls are and why my seat is getting hot!

This "luxury" is just further distracting drivers, actually forcing us to look away from the road, and I can't think of a third thing. I sincerely and whole heartedly thank Ford for not ruining this part of the Mustang, and I plead for them to use this style in the Lincoln MKM.

/rant. I like the interior lol

I lived in Annapolis from 98 to 04. Bought an 01 Expedition at Koons Ford. I really enjoyed that area.

Kona you aren't the only one that prefers the older interior. Cleaner and and less busy.

Finally got the chance as well to sit in a 15 yesterday. My local dealer had 4 on the lot including a 14 sitting nearby. Loved the interior, could live with the front end and sides, but wth did they do with the rear. It looks terrible. It looks as if ford did all of the work up front and on he sides and where ever the lines ended, they just connected the dots on the rear and said done. In the end, looking at the 14 and 15 side by side, I will probably get a used 14 down the road if I want to move on from my 07...

I still think they tried to make it too many things and veered away from designing an awesome car with some Mustang cues. They had to blend it into the rest of the car line.

I'm going to go test drive one check it out in person, there is a black GT locally. But I'm probably going to just keep the 07 or sell it and buy a 67 or 69 fastback and build a restomod.

Gonna order me a 2015 in dec or january. Base gt 6 spd no options or packages besides wheels and 3.55 diff gear. Also the dealer will install ford racing half shafts for me in the deal. I am exstatic with this new body style. Sat in one today and it was beside a 14. I liked the 14 a lot but not enough over a camaro. Until i see the 15 yesturday and now im just wanting the 15 no matter what. I actually love this new style and the rearend that is 6 inches lower than the 14 in the back. Easy rear view observing for driving and backing up.

Ford.com build your own save money that way. 34k or 31125 with an x plan with a friend who works for ford for my optioned gt. Cant wait to turbocharge it.lol

I think the larger spoilers like the mmd car or streeda car help the backend.

IMO, the rear end NEEDS some serious aftermarket love or even a 2017 refresh which is right about when I'm going to be looking at them.

And like I keep saying, the LT1 Camaro on the CTSV Alfa platform is releasing next year...

When you saw it, were you blind in one eye, and your other eye was infected that day from picking at it, and you were tired, and been swimming in a pool with too much chlorine, and it was the hour your glasses were at LensCrafters?

Omg, lmao. I just saw my first 2015 mustang on the road about 45 minutes ago. My wife and I were cruising in the stang when a black one passed me in the opposite direction doing like 25 mph on a one lane roadway. I swear that 15 gets freaking uglier and uglier every time I see it. When I looked in my rear view mirror as the 15 was moving away from me , I wanted to puke my guts up looking at that rear. That's a rear end only a manufacturer can love.
