Price.

Was all set to trade my 2011gt in. Then they added 5k to the sticker price. Not happy at all.

If you still owe on the 2011 then look at numbers closely. there are allot of fugding numbers dealerships will do to hide you being over/under on a trade and it actually helps you with interest rate

So they lost a sale. I will look into them in 3 or 4 months. And see what they will cost.

NO car is worth over sticker IMO. When they are new I would expect to pay full sticker if hot, I had to on my 2005 Chrysler 300. They will go down. they just figure they can capitalize on hype

Price.

True. U would think after buying 3 cars from them and paying sticker price for my 2011 gt. They would hook me up. They lost a good customer. I wont buy from them again

I walked out of a dealership when they offered me $14k for my 2014 v6 with 6k miles. MSRP was $26,200 on it (not that it means anything or close to what I paid) when I got it. They basically offered me half of the MSRP.

Asked for my $25 gift card for the promotion they were running to test drive a car and left lol. They proceeded to call me every day for 4 days straight (I let it go to voicemail each time) leaving progressively more desperate voicemails to get me back in and re-evaluate their offer. Never gave them the time of day.

depending on the area and supply and demand it makes sense for dealers to do this. At the end of the day MSRP is suggested price not set price. If a new model comes of and people have to be the first to have it and are dumb enough to pay more then what its worth why wouldn't they do it? I've also noticed all the new mustangs at my local dealerships are premium models. I feel bad for anyone that actually pays 36k for an ecoboost premium model if they ever go to sell it in the near future.

I priced out an ecoboost premium with all the options i wanted (almost all of them except performance package, and reverse sensor, and one or two small things). It came out to around 33k. That is just the MSRP. Probably would go no more than 30k out the door. And that is on special order, if its sitting on a dealer lot with a few miles on it take off even more $ from the deal.

X plan will get you real close but don't expect much of a discount if anything right now when buying these first few units off the lot.

Don't need a GT. If I were to get a new mustang it would be a premium and something with good MPG.

I've got my own race car already

A super loud car manual transmission car with a bunch of suspension work isn't really the best thing to commute in.

What's funny is that brand new 15 GT is his DD. By the looks of that thread that Bullitt is a complete garage queen whose only mods are the wheels, I understand why if it's low miles and everything. I just hate seeing stock mustangs for the only reason that they are "special"
