Not always Scotty! It's important to know the terms of the loans, rebates, and loan opportunities from other sources.

I picked up a premium for $24K with 41K miles with about $4500 worth of mods and a ford certified warranty. I was crazy lucky, but good deals are out there. The only way I got that deal was because another GT I was looking at fell through. And by the time I bought it, he said 10 people had already asked about in 2 days.

Mod list? I personally would rather have the lowest miles possible and bone stock. In my experience, mods usually=problems from dip**** installers or jury rigging in stuff that you can't see till after you buy the car.

I agree, I should have mentioned that all mods were for looks. The biggest "risk" mod, if you would, were the eibach pro kit springs. The drive train and power train were completely stock. Mods included $1600 wheels and tires, $450 rear livers, $250 springs, $50 worth of new badges, $25 fog light tint, $350 exhaust, $300 spoiler, $50 tail light trim $25 tail light trim, $300 hood scoop, tint all around so about $75? So yeah around $3500 and that's if they were all DIY installs. If not then it's upwards of $4K. Sorry meant to say $3500 worth of mods in my previous post. All this was on top of a factory premium 3.73 geared car with brembos. So yeah I was shocked at this deal to say the least...if there were more intrusive mods such as tuning and such I would have been more against it just like you.

Eh... still would much prefer a base 2011 Coyote unmolested for $20k which I'm starting to see. There is one for sale on SVTP right now in Florida with 29k miles for that price. There are also well modded 07-09 GT500s out there in the $24-$26k range at about 50k miles. But if you like it, more power to you especially if you have to have all the bells/whistles of the premium.

Mainly comfort. I sat in the 15 premium and it was really nice. Leather was awesome, nothing like the previous years, definitely not meh quality. And I've never been a fan of cloth seats. Standard with a touch screen unit and voice activation for Bluetooth. Definitely worth it IMO if you care about really driving the car and not just going fast.

There is no glass roof option btw.

Me either. Just (2 months ago now) picked up a new 14 base GT auto in DI blue for $27,300 (selling price). Only 3 of them were within 300 miles of me with base trim/auto in that color, but worth the 200 mile drive
I ended up making.

Koons (in Va.) still has several black and one white base gt manuals, new for high 26's.

Been "really driving" cars for 30 years without leather (in fact I HATE leather), touch screens, sync, blue tooth, blah blah blah..............

And anyway I'd still rather have a lightly used 2011/12 for the styling for $6k less that I know hasn't had MT82 problems if I was getting a stick shift. Unless that is $26k out the door taxes/title/tags/everything included in the sale. Then that is a helluva deal.

13' 5.0 premium, bunch of mods, cosmetic and performance, 10k miles, 27k with a warranty.. The previous owner paid over 50k brand new. and its tuned with a boss 302 manifold and exhaust. I had a trade in though so it was alot less for me

This was right before the new mustang came out so prices should have dropped a little...

Just stalk autotrader and cars.com, then get to it before some one else does. Might have to drive awhile too.. so be it. I drove 4 hours for mine

Alot of people are modding the **** out of 5.0s and then realizing they should have gone F/I because they still aren't that fast, so they're selling them. And it actually makes them harder for dealers to sell so you can talk them down and end up with all the mods you would have done anyway... just for free.

Go look at new ones!!
They're selling them for below invoice to move them... so a
2014 GT = $34,000
- 2,000 - $3,000 off sticker
---------------------
estimate $31,500
- $3,000 in rebates available
----------------------
$28,500 + TTL

not bad for a brand new car.... basically zero miles.... full 3 year warranty.

And the higher up models have more off, and an extra $1,000 in rebates, making them worthwhile. I got my FULLY loaded GT Prem. Conv. $46k+ sticker car for $38k + ttl a few months ago with all the rebates & below invoice pricing!

I actually was out of the door only paying about $6.4k b/c I had a $33k trade in.

Just checked the Dallas/Fort Worth Craig's List for 11-14 GTs. Out of 46 cars, only one for under $20K (19,500). $23K-28K was normal.

Like I said you have to look and the best place to find them is on enthusiast forums' classifieds. THE best deals I have found have been on SVTP and the Corral as far as buying something in that price range. CL or dealers are going to be mostly idiots who think their car is worth book value . For a GT500 maybe, but the market is tough right now and if you are willing to wait and are prepped to move instantly when an opportunity does arise, deals can be had.

Oh YOU didn't get a 5.0 then... Confused because the mod list you posted is eerily similar to the one in your sig.
